DESCRIPTION

UltraCare Grout Refresh is a nonflammable, ready-to-use, water-based, polymer-

modified colorant and sealer for grout joints. It can be applied onto and bonds to

cement, epoxy, urethane and acrylic grouts.

WHERE TO USE

• For interior/exterior use

• For revitalizing old grout joints

• For vertical and horizontal applications

LIM ITATIONS

• Do not clean with solvent-based cleaners once UltraCare Grout Refresh

has been applied.

• Porous tile or natural stone may require sealing with one of MAPEI’s

UltraCare penetrating sealers, to prevent UltraCare Grout Refresh from

absorbing into the tile. Contact MAPEI's Technical Services Department

for recommendations.

• Do not use in submerged areas, such as pools or hot tubs, or in areas

subject to hydrostatic pressure.

• Grout should be cured for at least 48 hours before being treated with

UltraCare Grout Refresh.

• Use only when the substrate and ambient temperatures are between 50°F

and 95°F (10°C and 35°C).

• Not recommended for use over MAPEI’s Kerapoxy

SURFACE PREPARATION • • Substrate should be clean, dry and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, paint, curing agents, concrete sealers, loosely bonded toppings, loose particles, and any other substance that may prevent or reduce adhesion. Clean surface using MAPEI’s UltraCare HeavyDuty Stone, Tile & Grout Cleaner.
