Connecting a USB device or iPod Cautions when using media This operation is done when the power is switched on. DN-700C supports external USB devices (mass storage class). • A USB hub is not supported. • FAT16/FAT32/HFS+ (read only) file systems are supported. • Do not use a cracked or warped CD or USB drive, or one that has been repaired with adhesive. • “Loading...” appears on the display when media is used or loaded. Do not remove the media while this message is displayed.

You can use the HOT1 to 5 buttons on the DN-700C panel for hot start playback.

Required system • Use only a shielded STP or ScTP LAN cable which is available at retailer. • The normal shielded-type Ethernet cable is recommended. If a flat-type cable or unshielded-type cable is used, other devices could be affected by noise. Network settings need to be configured after the network (LAN) is connected. For details, see “Network Settings” (vpage 31).
LAN Connection The screen returns to the “System Setting” screen. Program Screen (PROGRAM) This is a simplified version of the full size control screen with fewer displays and operation items. • Configure the program (List) settings (Maximum number of program files: 99) • Changes can only be made when in the STOP mode. • Files can be deleted and added to the program list • Press the [Insert File] button to display the File List Screen and select tracks to insert. • The files selected in [Insert File] is inserted one line above the selected line.
Hot Start Screen (HOT START) Press the [MAPPING] button in the HOT START screen or the [INSERT FILE] button in the PROGRAM screen to display the DN-700C file list and select files. • Starts playback for Hot Start (Maximum number of registered files: 20) • Press any of the buttons from [1] to [20] to start playback. • The time code display is updated every 0.1 to 0.
