Cannot connect to
network.
•The settings of the SSID and network key (WEP) are incorrect.
Match the network settings with this unit settings.
•The reception is poor and the signals cannot be received. Shorten
the distance from the wireless LAN’s access point, remove any
obstacles and otherwise improve visibility, then try reconnecting.
Also install away from microwave ovens and the access points of
other networks.
•There are multiple networks and the usable channels overlap. Set
the access point’s channel settings away from the channels used
for other networks. Alternatively, connect using a network cable.
•The router power is off. Turn on the router power.
Cannot achieve
network connection
using the
WPS
button.
•The encryption type on the router is set to “WEP” or “TKIP”.
Set the encryption type to “None”, “WPA-PSK(AES)” or “WPA2-
PSK(AES)” before establishing connection.
Played sound is
interrupted or sound
cannot be played.
•There are multiple networks and the usable channels overlap. Set
the access point’s channel settings away from the channels used
for other networks. Alternatively, connect using a network cable.

remote control unit.
•Batteries are worn out. Replace with new batteries.
•Operate the remote control unit within a distance of about
23 ft/7 m from this unit and at an angle of within 30°.
•Remove any obstacle between this unit and the remote control
unit.
•Insert the batteries in the proper direction, checking the q and
w marks.
•The set’s remote control sensor is exposed to strong light (direct
sunlight, inverter type fluorescent bulb light, etc.). Move the set
to a place in which the remote control sensor will not be exposed
to strong light.

Resetting the microprocessor
When the microprocessor is reset, all the settings are reset to their default values.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until “Menu” is
displayed.
•“Menu” is displayed, then “Language” menu appears.

Turn GYRO to select “Yes”, then press ENTER.
“Initialized” is displayed and the default settings are
restored.
If “Initialized” does not display in step 3, start over from step 1.
n Exiting the menu to return to the normal mode
Press FUNCTION.
•If you press FUNCTION before pressing ENTER, the setting is cancelled.
How to reset
“Reset” is an operation that restarts this unit.
Perform this procedure if the display is abnormal or if operations cannot be performed.
When the power of this unit is on, insert a thin stick
(

2) into the reset hole (

1), and press the reset
button within this unit.
This unit automatically restarts.
•Prepare a thin stick (such as a toothpick and straightened paper
clip) for pressing the reset button within this unit.
