Audio

ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec)

Dit is een codec voor de verliesloze audiocompressiemethode, ontwikkeld

door Apple Inc. Deze codec kan worden afgespeeld op iTunes, iPod of

iPhone. Gegevens die zijn gecomprimeerd tot ongeveer 60 – 70% kunnen

worden gedecomprimeerd tot precies dezelfde originele gegevens.

AIFF (Audio Interchange File Format)

Dit is een niet-gecomprimeerd en verliesloos formaat voor digitale audio.

Gebruik AIFF-bestanden voor het branden van audio-CD’s van hoge

kwaliteit van geïmporteerde nummers. AIFF-bestanden gebruiken

ongeveer 10 MB schijfruimte per minuut.

FLAC

FLAC staat voor “Free Lossless Audio Codec” en is een free lossless

audiobestandsformaat. Lossless betekent dat de audio wordt

gecomprimeerd zonder kwaliteitsverlies.

De FLAC licentie wordt hieronder aangegeven.
