Sharing and connecting to the Wi-Fi setting of an iOS device
This unit supports the “WAC (Wireless Accessory Configuration)” setup
mode of Apple Inc. In the WAC setup mode, use your iOS device (iPhone/
iPod/iPad) to connect to the network. By connecting your iOS device with
this device, this device can be automatically connected to the same
network.

Press OPTION.
The option menu is displayed on the display.

Select “AirPlay Setup” and press ENTER.
“Network Setup” is shown on the display and this device switches to
the WAC setup mode.

At the bottom of the Wi-Fi setup screen for iOS devices,
select “Marantz MODEL 40n” from “SET UP NEW
AIRPLAY SPEAKER...”.

Make sure the iOS device is connected to the wireless LAN (Wi-
Fi) router.

Select a network to connect this device and press
“Next”.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the
connection.
When connected, “Connected” is shown on the display.

The firmware version of your iOS device must support iOS 10.0.2 or later.

The WAC setup mode lasts approximately 15 minutes. If the setup is not
completed within 15 minutes, the WAC setup mode is canceled automatically. If
you cancel the WAC setup mode manually, press the BACK button.
