Cautions on handling • Power is supplied to some of the circuitry even when the unit is set to the standby mode. Setting the audio [Audio] Noise Shaper Digital feedback is used to improve the low-sound linearity and the noise characteristics of the audible band. Although no difference is observed in the measured values, the sound quality is changed, allowing users to specify a favorite sound quality. 2 This filter is effective in preventing excessive speaker vibration when playing music source where audio with extremely low noise characteristics has been recorded. (The cut frequency is set at 1.7 Hz.) 1 Press MENU.
Setting the audio [Audio] Preparation Phase (analog output phase switching) Switches the output signal phase for balanced outputs. The unit’s balanced output conforms to USA system. This setting must be set to “Inverted” in order to execute balanced outputs to a European system amplifier with a different (inverted) phase. 1 Press MENU. Operations possible during playback Switching the display’s brightness Use this function to automatically switch the power to the standby mode after a specific amount of time (minutes). 2 filter characteristic types can be selected for DSD source, and for PCM source. The 2 filter characteristics types are explained below. Press DIMMER. Network audio playback • When you enter the Spotify account and Search text, you can use number buttons to select characters with diacritical marks. You can also select the base character and then press MODE to change diacritical marks. • For character input, see page 40. When the user name and password match, the registration confirmation message scrolls. • To continue, press ENTER and select “[accept]”. The Spotify Top menu is displayed. To go back, press o and select “[back]”.
Favorite function • The Favorite function allows you to register your favorite broadcast stations and files in the Favorite List in advance so that you can call and listen to the stations or files right away, whenever you want. • The contents that you can register and call are Internet radio station and music server. • You can register up to 50 items in the Favorite List. Press FAVORITES ADD while the 1 Internet radio station or file to register is played back.
