Cautions on handling
•Before turning the power switch on
Check onceagain that all connectionsare correct and that
therearenoproblemswiththeconnectioncables.
•Power is supplied to some of the circuitry evenwhenthe
unitissettothestandbymode.Whengoingonvacationor
leavinghomeforlongperiodsoftime,besuretounplugthe
powercordfromthepoweroutlet.
•About condensation
If there is a major dierence in temperature between the
inside of the unit and its surroundings, condensation may
form on parts inside the unit, causing it to fail to operate
properly.
Ifthishappens,lettheunit sitforan hourortwo withthe
power turned o and wait until there is little dierence in
temperaturebeforeusingtheunit.
•Cautions on using smartphones
Usingasmartphonenearthisunitmayresultinnoise.Ifthat
occurs,movethesmartphoneawayfromtheunitwhenitis
inuse.
•Moving the unit
Turn o the power and unplug the power cord from the
power outlet. Next, disconnect the cables connected to
othersystemunitsbeforemovingtheunit.

oftheremotecontrol.
wSet two R03/AAA batteries
inthebatterycompartment
intheindicateddirection.
ePuttherearcoverbackon.
About the remote control
NOTE
•Insertthespeciedbatteriesintheremotecontrol.
•Replace the batteries with new ones if the set does not
operate even when the remote control is operated close
to the unit. (The supplied batteries are only for verifying
operation.Replacethemwithnewbatteriesatanearlydate.)
•Wheninsertingthebatteries,besuretodosointheproper
direction, following the q and w marks in the battery
compartment.
•Topreventdamageorleakageofbatteryuid:
•Donotuseanewbatterytogetherwithanoldone.
•Donotusetwodierenttypesofbatteries.
•Donotattempttochargedrybatteries.
•Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat or dispose of
batteriesinames.
•Donotkeepthebatteryinaplaceexposedtodirectsunlight
orinplaceswithextremelyhightemperatures,suchasnear
aheater.
•Ifthebatteryuidshouldleak,carefullywipetheuidothe
insideofthebatterycompartmentandinsertnewbatteries.
•Removethebatteriesfromtheremotecontrolifitwillnotbe
inuseforlongperiods.
•Usedbatteriesshouldbedisposedofinaccordancewiththe
localregulationsregardingbatterydisposal.
•Theremotecontrolmayfunctionimproperlyifrechargeable
batteriesareused.
