Cautions on handling
•Before turning the power switch on
Check onceagain that all connectionsare correct and that
therearenoproblemswiththeconnectioncables.
•Power is supplied to some of the circuitry evenwhenthe
unitissettothestandbymode.Whengoingonvacationor
leavinghomeforlongperiodsoftime,besuretounplugthe
powercordfromthepoweroutlet.
•About condensation
If there is a major dierence in temperature between the
inside of the unit and its surroundings, condensation may
form on parts inside the unit, causing it to fail to operate
properly.
Ifthishappens,lettheunit sitforan hourortwo withthe
power turned o and wait until there is little dierence in
temperaturebeforeusingtheunit.
•Cautions on using smartphones
Usingasmartphonenearthisunitmayresultinnoise.Ifthat
occurs,movethesmartphoneawayfromtheunitwhenitis
inuse.
•Moving the unit
Turn o the power and unplug the power cord from the
power outlet. Next, disconnect the cables connected to
othersystemunitsbeforemovingtheunit.

oftheremotecontrol.
wSet two R03/AAA batteries
inthebatterycompartment
intheindicateddirection.
ePuttherearcoverbackon.
About the remote control
NOTE
•Insertthespeciedbatteriesintheremotecontrol.
•Replace the batteries with new ones if the set does not
operate even when the remote control is operated close
to the unit. (The supplied batteries are only for verifying
operation.Replacethemwithnewbatteriesatanearlydate.)
•Wheninsertingthebatteries,besuretodosointheproper
direction, following the q and w marks in the battery
compartment.
•Topreventdamageorleakageofbatteryuid:
•Donotuseanewbatterytogetherwithanoldone.
•Donotusetwodierenttypesofbatteries.
•Donotattempttochargedrybatteries.
•Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat or dispose of
batteriesinames.
•Donotkeepthebatteryinaplaceexposedtodirectsunlight
orinplaceswithextremelyhightemperatures,suchasnear
aheater.
•Ifthebatteryuidshouldleak,carefullywipetheuidothe
insideofthebatterycompartmentandinsertnewbatteries.
•Removethebatteriesfromtheremotecontrolifitwillnotbe
inuseforlongperiods.
•Usedbatteriesshouldbedisposedofinaccordancewiththe
localregulationsregardingbatterydisposal.
•Theremotecontrolmayfunctionimproperlyifrechargeable
batteriesareused.
