MULTI-CHANNEL MAIN AMPLIFIER

At the heart of this amplifier is a massive high-current, audiophile-grade, oversized Toroidal power transformer. It

easily delivers more than 140W to each of the eight channels, and in addition to its sheer power, it incorporates high-

grade audio components throughout, extensive shielding of key components, and ultra-wide bandwidth Current Feedback

technology. The amplification system was originally developed to handle Super Audio CD signals, so it’s ideal for the

new DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby True HD formats. The chassis is completely copper plated to deliver perfect

grounding, and to eliminate EMI. The result is an amazingly accurate tonal and image balance, allied to speed and

dynamics with very low distortion.

Any file possible

The THX Ultra2-certified AV8003 has a built-in digital media player so it can decode movies and music files stored on

your PC or external storage unit streamed via the network. Almost any file is possible including MP3, WMA, AAC and

even HD video files such as WMV-HD. All will be handled with the best possible quality, thanks to built-in excellent

video and audio processing engines and the Marantz Digital Audio Expander M-DAX for compressed audio.

MULTI-CHANNEL AV PRE-AMPLIFIER

This THX Ultra2-certified networking pre-amp/processor will maximise the clarity and transparency of your source

signals, whatever the source – Blu-ray, DVD, CD and even the AV files from your PC and external storage streamed via

the network. That’s because it is DLNA-certified. It decodes every format, up to THX-EX, DTS-HD Master Audio and

Dolby True HD and, of course, supports Deep Color and 24fps via four HDMI version 1.3a inputs and two outputs. Legacy

designs get the HD treatment, too, via video processing technology VRS™ from Anchor Bay with scaling up to 1080p.

For total connectivity and flexibility, the AV8003 features eight balanced outputs for ultra-low noise connection to the

power amp, and two balanced inputs to connect a high-end CD source. To minimise interference, the power supply

incorporates a Toroidal Transformer and a copper-plated chassis. For total control, the system comes with a programmable,

backlit LCD remote controller, as well as an additional handset supporting multi-room capability.
