BD7003 Blu-ray Disc players. Blu-ray Disc, also referred to as
BD-ROM, is the next-generation High Definition (HD) optical
disc format and it offers more than five times the storage
capacity of traditional DVDs. This extra capacity, combined
with the use of advanced video and audio codecs, gives you an
unprecedented high definition experience. It’s all there:
unbelievable resolution; razor-sharp lines; intense, perfect
colours; and outstanding audio. All you have to do is live it!
The BD8002 is something special. Very special. As a state-of-the-art, truly impressive player it not only plays your Blu-ray
discs with absolute, no-compromise integrity, it actually improves the playback of your DVDs as well – thanks to the
Silicon Optix Realta chip with HQV™ processing system that up-scales the DVD format to 1080p quality. Its HDMI
version 1.3a terminal supports 24fps, Deep Color and all raw High Definition data. For the analogue video-out, it applies
a 297MHz/12bit DAC. Twin SHARC DSPs decode DTS-HD and Dolby True HD to output 7.1 analogue audio. For digital,
HD 7.1PCM can be outputted as well. And, because it’s a truly universal player, you can also play MP3 and WMA files
from CD or via the in-built SD card.

BD7003 gives you Full HD 1080p output of Blu-ray Discs for a 24 fps, film-like experience. What’s more, thanks to the
player’s high-precision video processing and up-scaling capability to 1080p, your DVD experience will also leap to a
new level of stunning exhilaration, The BD7003 can output digital HD audio in lossless 7.1PCM format, so it can be
connected to every previous HDMI input-equipped Marantz AV Receiver – even if there are no Dolby True HD or DTS HD
decoders in the receiver. With BD7003 it is only one small step to HD heaven.
