ENGLISH SAFETY WARNINGS • The wiring of your electrical installation is live (230 V) and extremely dangerous. Never connect the module when plugged into the mains. Always turn off the main switch before starting the installation. • This product is for professional use and should be installed by a certified installer. • To prevent short circuits, this product should only be used inside and only in dry spaces. Do not expose the components to rain or moisture.
1. Modules: These components will receive Marmitek X-10 signals and will switch or dim the attached lamp or appliance. Examples of these modules are lamp modules and appliance modules. These are available as build-in, micro, DIN rail and plug-in modules. 2. Controllers: These components will transmit Marmitek X-10 signals and thus will control the Modules. 3. Transmitters: Wireless components like remotes.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR MARMITEK X-10 IN WALL SHUTTER MODULE SW12 INTRODUCTION This unit allows a motorized blind to be controlled either manually from a momentary switch with two normally open contacts connected to the unit, or remotely by serial Marmitek X-10 Powerline messages sent from a suitable controller. When controlled serially the blind can be made to go to intermediate settings in addition to fully up or fully down.
ENGLISH 2. PROGRAMMING Before the unit can be used it has to be told what the window height is. This means it needs to know how long it takes to travel from fully open to fully closed. It also needs to know where the current position of the blind is - whether fully up or down or at some intermediate position. To enter this data into the unit and also to set in the X-10 address the unit must be put into Install Mode. To enter Install Mode: Press the UP key.
3. DEFAULT SETTING When the unit leaves the factory the window size will be set to Maximum (2 mins. and 8 sec) and the Blind’s position will be set to Fully Up. This makes it particularly easy to get into Install Mode because the 5 second timeout on the UP key will then start immediately it is pressed.
ENGLISH which occurs when the UP and DOWN keys are pressed. Bright is equivalent to UP and DIM is equivalent to DOWN. The unit will also respond to ‘Extended’ code1 X-10 messages of Type = 0. Using these commands enables the unit to remotely set the blind to any desired position using a suitable controller and fully automate the blinds in the house, apartment or office. Extended code messages can be sent to the SW12 using a CM15PRO Computer Interface for example. 6.
Does the SW12 respond to the commands ‘All lights on’ and ‘All units off’? No. The SW12 does not respond to these commands. The blinds do not open fully when I press the button. INSTALLATIONS-ANWEISUNGEN JALOUSIEN-MODUL FÜR EIN SW12 X-10 INTRODUCTION Diese Einheit ermöglicht eine motorisierte Jalousie, über einen angeschlossenen Druckschalter, oder über X-10 Powerline Steuerbefehlen von einem geeigneten X-10 Controller zu schalten. Die Fenster-Parameter, wie Fenster-Größe und gegenwärtige Position, werden zusammen mit der X-10 Adresse der Einheit in einem permanenten Speicher des Modul abgelegt, die Daten bleiben auch nach einem Spannungsabfall erhalten. 1.
2. PROGRAMMIEREN Installations- Modus: Drücken Sie den „Auf” Taster, die Jalousie bewegt sich nach oben bis diese den oberen Endpunkt (des SW12) erreicht. Drücken Sie weitere 5 Sekunden den Taster und das Modul schaltet jetzt in den Installations- Modus. Um dem Anwender den Programmierstand anzuzeigen läuft der Motor 1 Sekunde in Richtung Zu bis dieser dann wieder auf die Position komplett AUF. Sie können jetzt den Schalter los lassen.
3. STANDARDEINSTELLUNG Die Werkseinstellungen des Moduls sind auf die max. Laufzeit (2 Min. und 8 Sek.) und die Position der Jalousien ist auf komplett AUF gesetzt. • Trennen Sie das SW12 von der Spannung für etwa 10 Sekunden. z.B. Durch Ausschalten des Lastschalters • Schalten Sie die Spannung wieder ein und senden Sie innerhalb von 1 Minute zweimal ‘P16’ PON ‘oder ‘P16’ POFF” über einen X-10 Controller. • Der SW12 hat jetzt wieder die Standardeinstellungen mit der Geräteadresse P16.
Der SW12 reagiert auch auf ‘Erweiterte’ X-10-Nachrichten Code1 von Typ = 0. Diese Befehle ermöglicht der Einheit, die Jalousie zu einer gewünschten Position zu fahren und voll Automatisch zusteuern. Erweiterte Codenachrichten können z.B. von einem CM15Pro an den SW12 gesendet werden. Wie kommt es, dass einige Module spontan an- oder ausgehen? Es kann sein, dass das installierte Marmitek X-10 System durch ein anderes X-10 System in der Nachbarschaft beeinflusst wird.
Reagiert der SW 12 auf die Gruppenbefehle ‘All lights on’ und ‘All Units OFF’? Nein. Der SW12 reagiert nicht auf diese Befehle. Wenn ich den Schalter bediene, öffnen sich die Rollläden nicht gänzlich. Kalibrieren Sie die Fensterhöhe erneut. Was ist die maximale Programmierzeit im SW12? COMMENT FONCTIONNE LE SYSTÈME MARMITEK X-10? Le système Marmitek X-10 utilise le câblage électrique existant pour communiquer (en utilisant les signaux courants porteurs Marmitek X-10). INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION DU MODULE DE STORE À ENCASTRER SW12 INTRODUCTION Ce module vous permet de manier un store à moteur soit manuellement par un bouton dièdre poussoir à impulsion avec position neutre raccordé au module, soit à distance par les commandes en série du réseau électrique Marmitek X-10, transmises par un contrôleur adéquat. Lors de la commande en série le store peut être non seulement complètement baissé ou monté, mais il peut aussi être placé en positions intermédiaires.
2. PROGRAMMATION Aller en position de programmation : Appuyez sur le bouton HAUT. Le store monte jusqu’à ce qu’il ait atteint le point final le plus élevé. Continuez à appuyer sur le bouton et, 5 secondes après avoir atteint la position la plus élevée, le module passe en position de programmation. A ce point le module indique à l’utilisateur que la position de programmation est active, faisant descendre le store pendant 1 seconde avant de revenir dans la position la plus élevée.
3. RÉGLAGE D’USINE Lorsque le module sort de l’usine, le format de la fenêtre est réglé au maximum (2 minutes et 8 secondes) et le store en position la plus élevée. Ainsi c’est très simple de passer en position de programmation. En effet l’interruption de 5 secondes sur le bouton HAUT se met en marche tout de suite lorsque vous appuyez sur le bouton.

Que dois-je faire encore si je veux échanger mon commutateur actuel contre un SW12 ? Le SW12 peut remplacer un commutateur normal, mais le commutateur normal doit aussi être remplacé par un bouton dièdre poussoir à impulsion avec position neutre. Le SW12 répond-il aussi aux commandes ‘All lights on’ et ‘All units off’? Non. Le SW12 ne répond pas à ces commandes. Les stores ne s’ouvrent pas entièrement quand je commande le commutateur. Réglez de nouveau la hauteur de votre fenêtre.

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN PARA EL MARMITEK X10 MÓDULO DE PERSIANA PARA EMPOTRAR INTRODUCCIÓN Este módulo le ofrece la posibilidad de manejar una persiana motorizada de dos maneras diferentes: a mano, utilizando un interruptor de impulsos basculante con posición cero que se conecta con el módulo, o a distancia, utilizando los seriales Marmitek comandos X-10 que se envían por la red de alumbrado con un controlador adecuado.
2. PROGRAMACIÓN Ha de ingresar la altura de la ventana para poder usar el módulo, porque el módulo tiene que saber cuánto tiempo necesita la persiana para moverse de posición completamente abierta a posición completamente cerrada. También ha de saber la posición actual de la persiana - completamente arriba, completamente abajo u en posición intermedia. Ha de poner el módulo en Modo de Instalación para ingresar estos datos y la dirección X-10.
3. AJUSTES POR DEFECTO El tamaño de la ventana está ajustado por defecto al máximo (2 minutos y 8 segundos) y la posición de la ventana está ajustada a completamente arriba. De esta manera le facilitamos poner el módulo en Modo de Programación, porque se inicia directamente el time-out de 5 segundos en la tecla para ARRIBA al pulsarla. Cuando el tamaño de la ventana y la posición de la persiana están desconocidos, el primer intento de poner el módulo en el Modo de Programación puede resultar perturbador.

¿Qué tengo que hacer más si quiero sustituir el interruptor actual por un SW12? El SW12 puede sustituir un interruptor estándar, pero el interruptor estándar tiene que sustituirse también por un interruptor de impulsos basculante con posición cero. ¿El SW12 también reacciona a los comandos ‘All lights on’ y ‘All units off’? ISTRUZIONI DI INSTALLAZIONE MODULO AD INCASSO PER PROTEZIONI SOLARI SW12 DI MARMITEK INTRODUZIONE Questo modulo vi mette in grado di comandare la protezione solare sia in modo manuale tramite un interruttore a due pulsanti con posizione neutra collegato al modulo, sia a distanza tramite comandi seriali X10 di Marmitek inviati sulla rete elettrica tramite un apposito dispositivo di controllo.
2. PROGRAMMAZIONE Prima della messa in servizio del modulo, si deve introdurre l’altezza della finestra. Serve al modulo di sapere quanto tempo ci vuole per passare da completamente aperto a completamente chiuso. Deve anche sapere la posizione attuale della protezione solare - se è completamente su o giù o se si trova in una posizione intermedia. Si deve mettere il modulo nel modo di Installazione per introdurre questi dati e l’indirizzo X-10. Passare al modo di programmazione: Premere il tasto SU.
3. IMPOSTAZIONI DI FABBRICA Quando il modulo lascia la fabbrica, il formato di finestra è impostato a Massimo (2 minuti e 8 secondi) e la posizione della protezione solare a Completamente Su. In tal modo è molto facile passare al modo di programmazione. Si avvierà direttamente il time-out di 5 secondi nel momento in cui si preme il tasto SU. Nel caso che il formato di finestra e la posizione della protezione solare siano sconosciuti, il primo tentativo di andare al modo di programmazione sembra confondente.

Calibrare di nuovo l’altezza della vostra finestra.

INSTALLATIE-INSTRUCTIES MARMITEK ZONWERING MODULE SW12 X-10 INBOUW INTRODUCTIE Deze module laat u een gemotoriseerde zonwering ofwel handmatig bedienen via een tweevlaks pulsdrukschakelaar met nulstand aangesloten op de module, of op afstand via seriële Marmitek X-10 Lichtnetcommando’s, verzonden via een daarvoor geschikte controller. Bij seriële besturing kan de zonwering behalve volledig omhoog of volledig omlaag ook in tussenliggende standen worden gezet.
2. PROGRAMMEREN Voordat u de module kunt gebruiken, moet u de raamhoogte invoeren. De module moet namelijk weten hoe lang het duurt om van volledig open naar volledig dicht te gaan. Ook moet hij de huidige positie van de zonwering weten - of deze volledig omhoog of omlaag is, of in een tussenliggende positie. Om deze gegevens en tevens het X-10 adres in de module in te voeren, moet deze in Installatie Modus worden gezet. Naar programmeerstand gaan: Druk op de OP-toets.
3. FABRIEKSINSTELLING Als de module de fabriek verlaat, staat het raamformaat ingesteld op Maximum (2 minuten en 8 seconden) en de positie van de zonwering op Volledig Omhoog. Dit maakt het bijzonder eenvoudig om naar de programmeerstand te gaan. De 5 seconden durende time-out op de OP-toets start dan namelijk direct bij het indrukken. Als het raamformaat en de positie van de zonwering echter onbekend zijn, lijkt een eerste poging om naar de programmeerstand te gaan verwarrend.
BRIGHT en DIM kunnen worden gebruikt om de zonwering in elke gewenste positie te plaatsen. De actie is identiek aan wat er gebeurt wanneer de OP- en NEER-toetsen worden ingedrukt. Bright is equivalent aan OP en DIM is equivalent aan NEER. De module reageert tevens op ‘Extended’ code1 X-10 berichten van Type = 0. Het gebruik van deze commando’s stelt de module in staat om de zonwering op afstand in elke gewenste positie te plaatsen met gebruikmaking van een geschikte controller.
Wat moet ik nog meer doen, als ik mijn huidige schakelaar wil vervangen door een SW12? De SW12 kan een gewone schakelaar vervangen, maar de gewone schakelaar zelf moet ook vervangen worden voor een tweevlaks pulsdrukschakelaar met nulstand. Reageert de SW12 ook op de commando’s ‘All lights on’ en ‘All units off’? Nee. De SW12 reageert niet op deze commando’s. De rolluiken gaan niet geheel open als ik de schakelaar bedien. Kalibreer uw raamhoogte opnieuw.
