HET PLAATSEN VAN EEN iPOD Plaats de iPod (A) op de connector (zoals afgebeeld). Oefen een zachte druk uit naar omlaag zodat de connector van de iPod glijdt op de connector van dit apparaat Oefen een zachte druk uit op de achterzijde van het iPod compartiment. Indien dit apparaat is uitgeschakeld, eenmaal u de iPod verbindt zal het de batterij volledig opladen. Indien u daarna de iPod loskoppelt zal het apparaat terugkeren naar zijn vroegere stand.
WERKING DE RADIO GEBRUIKEN Met de iPod verbonden (zie pagina 9), druk op de aan/uit-knop om het apparaat aan te zetten; het scherm licht blauw op. Druk herhaaldelijk op de band/ find knop om uw gewenste frequentieband (AM of FM) te selecteren. OPMERKING: Indien het door u geselecteerde FM-station in stereo uitzendt, zal “ST” op het scherm verschijnen. Om de iPod te spelen/ pauzeren of te stoppen: Druk op de Play/ Pause(SPEEL AF/PAUZE) ( ) knop om uw iPod af te spelen.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET REGELEN VAN HET VOLUME EN EQ (equalizer) Het regelen van het volume: Druk op de VOLUME + of – knop op de afstandsbediening (afgebeeld) of op het apparaat zelf om het volume te verhogen of te verlagen.
WERKING (VERVOLG) USB SD/ MMC WERKING 1. Stel de functieschakelaar in op de USB- of SD-status. 2. Plaats een USB of SD/ MMC geheugenkaart in de USB- of SD-aansluiting. 3. Druk op PLAY/PAUSE(SPEEL AF/PAUZE) om de PLAY/PAUSE(SPEEL AF/PAUZE)-stand te bedienen. 4. Pas de volumeknop aan om het geluidsvolume te regelen. 5. Om het afspelen te stoppen druk op de STOP-knop. 6. Druk op TUNING/SKIP + om het volgend nummer af te spelen. 7. Druk op TUNING/SKIP + om het vorig USB-aansluiting nummer af te spelen.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET GEBRUIKEN VAN EEN iPod MET DIT APPARAAT Druk op de aan/uit-knop om het apparaat aan te zetten; het scherm licht blauw op. Druk op de FUNCTION knop indien u zich niet in de iPod-stand bevindt. U kan de iPod bedienen via zijn eigen knoppen. Raadpleeg hiervoor de handleiding van de iPod. Het geluid komt uit de luidsprekers van het apparaat.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET INSTELLEN VAN GESELECTEERDE RADIOSTATIONS (9 voor elke band) Volg de stappen op de vorige pagina om een station te selecteren. Druk op de MEMORY knop; “MEMORY” verschijnt en “1” flikkert op het scherm. Druk binnen de drie seconden op de PRESETof PRESET + knop om een gewenste stationpositie te selecteren. Druk nogmaals op de MEMORY knop om te bevestigen, het station wordt bewaard in het geheugen. Herhaal om bijkomende stations voor elke band in het geheugen te bewaren.
HET AFSPELEN VAN CD'S OP DIT APPARAAT Druk op de rechterbenedenhoek van het CD-compartiment om deze te openen en druk de CD(s) voorzichtig op de centrale as met het etiket naar boven gericht. Sluit het CDcompartiment. OPMERKING: 3-inch CD’s, standaard CD’s en CD-R/RWs kunnen met dit apparaat worden afgespeeld. Druk op de aan/uit-knop om het apparaat aan te zetten ; het scherm licht blauw op.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET PAUZEREN VAN EEN CD Tijdens het afspelen druk op de Play/Pause(SPEEL AF/PAUZE) ( ) knop om het afspelen te onderbreken (de verstreken tijd flikkert op het scherm). Druk opnieuw op de knop om verder af te spelen. OPMERKINGEN OMTRENT HET AFSPELEN VAN CD’S • • • • Indien een CD verkeerd geplaatst, vuil, beschadigd of niet aanwezig is, verschijnt “NO DISC” op het scherm. Het afspelen stopt wanneer u het CD-compartiment tijdens het afspelen opent.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET AFSPELEN VAN EEN SPECIFIEK MUZIEKNUMMER Druk op de Skip / Tuning + of Skip / Tuning knop om een specifiek nummer van uw geselecteerde CD af te spelen. Druk op de Play/Pause(SPEEL AF/PAUZE) ( ) knop eenmaal het gewenste nummer is geselecteerd. Het afspelen van uw geselecteerd nummer begint.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET HERHALEN VAN EEN/ ALLE NUMMERS Druk eenmaal op de MODE stand om “ ” Herhaal een (zal continue een bepaald nummer van de CD afspelen, zie de vorige pagina hoe een gewenst nummer te selecteren; “ ” zal in het scherm verschijnen) of tweemaal om “ All” Herhaal alles (zal continue alle nummers/ bestanden op de CD afspelen; “ All” zal op het scherm verschijnen) te selecteren. Wanneer de afspeelstand is geselecteerd, druk op de Play/Pause(SPEEL AF/PAUZE) ( knop.
WERKING (VERV) HET PROGRAMMEREN VAN HET GEHEUGEN (TOT 20 MUZIEKNUMMERS) Programmeren is de mogelijkheid om een volgorde te bepalen hoe de muzieknummers zullen worden afgespeeld. Druk op de MEMORY knop. Het afspeelnummer van de CD en “RP01” (het programmanummer) flikkeren op het scherm. Selecteer het nummer dat u wenst met behulp van de Skip / Tuning + of Skip / Tuning knop. Druk op de MEMORY knop om het nummer in het geheugen te plaatsen.
WERKING (VERVOLG) HET GEPROGRAMMEERD HERHALEN U kan ook de programma- en herhaalfuncties samen gebruiken om een programma te herhalen. Stel allereerst een programma samen in het geheugen zoals hiervoor beschreven, druk daarna tweemaal op de MODE knop om de Herhaal allesstand te openen. Het programma wordt continue afgespeeld. De geprogrammeerde herhaling wordt continue afgespeeld totdat u op de STOP ( ) knop drukt om de herhaalen programmastand te annuleren.
WERKING (VERVOLG) iPod DOCKING STATIONS Vind uw iPod terug in de lijst weergegeven op de volgende twee pagina’s en selecteer het respectievelijke docking station (het nummer van het docking station is gegraveerd in de achterzijde van het docking station zoals afgebeeld op de volgende pagina) dat met uw iPod overeenstemt. Steek het overeenkomstig docking station en uw iPod in het apparaat zoals beschreven op pagina 10.

ALIMENTATION INSTALLATION DES PILES DANS LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE 1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment de piles (situé à l’arrière de la télécommande) en faisant glisser le couvercle pour le retirer. (Vous pouvez insérer un stylo ou un objet similaire dans la fente sous le compartiment pour faciliter le retrait). 2. Installez 1 batterie CR2025 dans la télécommande en veillant à respecter le schéma de polarité du compartiment de piles (le côté positif vers le haut). 3.
INSERTION D’UN IPOD Insérez l’iPod (A) sur le connecteur (comme illustré). Enfoncez-le légèrement de façon à ce que le connecteur de l’iPod glisse sur le connecteur de l’appareil. Poussez doucement l’iPod en arrière. Si l’appareil est éteint, lorsque vus connecterez l’iPod, il mettra en charge la batterie jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit pleine. Ensuite, si vous débranchez l’iPod, l’appareil retournera au mode sous lequel il était précédemment. Lorsque votre iPod est connecté à cet appareil, il sera en mode Pause.
FONCTIONNEMENT UTILISATION DE LA RADIO Lorsque l’iPod est connecté (voir page 9), allumez cet appareil en appuyant que le bouton Marche ; le rétroéclairage s’illuminera en bleu. Appuyez successivement sur le bouton band/find pour sélectionner la bande désirée (AM ou FM). REMARQUE: Si la station FM que vous avez sélectionnée diffuse en stéréo, “ST” apparaîtra à l’écran d’affichage. Pour lire/mettre en pause/arrêter l’iPod : Appuyez sur le bouton Lecture / Pause ( ) pour démarrer la lecture de votre iPod.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME ET DE EQ (Egaliseur) Pour régler le volume principal : Appuyez sur VOLUME + et/ou sur le bouton – de la télécommande (illustrée) ou sur l’unité principale pour augmenter et/ou baisser le volume.

FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) UTILISATION D’UN iPod AVEC CET APPAREIL Allumez cet appareil en appuyant sur le bouton Marche; le rétroéclairage s’illuminera en bleu. Si vous n’êtes pas déjà en mode iPod, appuyez sur le bouton FUNCTION. Vous pouvez faire fonctionner l’iPod en utilisant ses propres contrôles en respectant les instructions de son manuel d’utilisateur et un signal sonore sera émis à travers les haut-parleurs de cet appareil.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) RÉGLER LES PRÉRÉGLAGES DE LA RADIO (9 pour chaque bande) Suivez les étapes de la page précédente pour syntoniser une station. Appuyez sur le bouton MEMORY; “MEMORY” apparaîtra et ‘1’ clignotera à l’écran d’affichage. Dans les trois secondes qui suivent, appuyez sur le bouton PRESETou PRESET + pour sélectionner le préréglage désiré. Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton MEMOPY pour valider, la station sera mise en mémoire.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) UTILISATION D’UN CD AVEC CET APPAREIL Appuyez sur la zone “Push to Open” (Appuyer pour ouvrir) du compartiment du disque et enfoncez légèrement le CD sur l’axe en veillant à ce que la face comportant le label soit sur le dessus. Fermez le compartiment du disque. REMARQUE: Les disques de 7, 62 cm, les CD normaux et les CD-R/RW peuvent être utilisés avec cet appareil. Allumez cet appareil en appuyant sur le bouton ; le rétroéclairage s’illuminera en bleu.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) POUR METTRE LE CD EN PAUSE Pendant la lecture, appuyez sur le bouton Lecture/Pause ( ) pour mettre la lecture en pause (le temps écoulé clignotera) et appuyez de nouveau pour rétablir la lecture. REMARQUES CONCERNANT LA LECTURE D’UN DISQUE : • • • • Si un disque est mal inséré, s’il est poussiéreux, endommagé ou s’il n’y a pas de disque, “NO DISC” apparaîtra à l’écran d’affichage.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) POUR DÉMARRER LA LECTURE À PARTIR D’UNE PISTE SPÉCIFIQUE Lorsque le disque désiré est sélectionné, vous pouvez appuyer / Tuning + soit sur le bouton Skip soit sur Skip / Tuning pour sélectionner une piste spécifique à lire. Lorsque la piste désirée est sélectionnée, appuyez sur le bouton Lecture/Pause ( ). La lecture démarrera à partir de la piste que vous avez sélectionnée.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) LECTURE EN MODE RÉPÉTER UN/TOUT Lorsque le disque désiré est sélectionné, appuyez sur le bouton MODE pour sélectionner “ ” Répéter Un (l’appareil lira une seule piste en continu, voir la page précédente pour sélectionner la piste ” apparaîtra à l’écran désirée; “ d’affichage) ou deux fois pour All” (l’appareil lira sélectionner “ toutes les pistes/les fichiers du disque All” apparaîtra à en continu; “ l’écran d’affichage).
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) POUR PROGRAMMER LA MÉMOIRE (JUSQU’À 20 PISTES) La programmation permet de présélectionner l’ordre dans lequel une série de pistes doit être lue. Lorsque le disque désiré est sélectionné, appuyez sur le bouton MEMORY. Le numéro de piste ainsi que “RP01” (numéro de programme) clignoteront/apparaîtront à l’écran d’affichage. Sélectionnez une piste à programmer à l’aide du / Tuning + ou Skip bouton Skip / Tuning - Appuyez sur le bouton MEMORY pour mettre la piste en mémoire.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) RÉPÉTITION PROGRAMMÉE Il est aussi possible d’utiliser les fonctions Programme et Répéter ensemble pour répéter un programme. Mettez d’abord le programme en lecture, comme décrit précédemment, puis appuyez deux fois sur le bouton MODE pour entrer en mode Repeat ALL et le programme sera répété en continu. La lecture programmée répétée continuera indéfiniment jusqu’à ce que vous appuyez sur le bouton STOP ( ) pour annuler les modes Répéter et Programme.
FONCTIONNEMENT (SUITE) ADAPTATEURS iPod Repérez votre modèle d’iPod dans le tableau des deux pages suivantes et sélectionnez l’adaptateur respectif (le numéro d’adaptateur est gravé à l’arrière des adaptateurs, comme illustré page suivante) pour qu’il corresponde à celui de votre iPod. Placez l’adaptateur correspondant et votre iPod sur l’appareil comme décrit pas 10.

POWER SOURCE REMOTE BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. Remove the Battery Compartment (on the bottom rear of the remote control) by sliding the compartment out. (You can insert a penny, or similar object, into the groove on the compartment to help slide it out.) 2. Install a CR2025 battery, paying attention to the polarity diagram in the Battery Compartment (positive side up). 3. Replace the Battery Compartment. BATTERY PRECAUTIONS Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device: 1.
PREPARATION FOR USE SPEAKER CONNECTION Place the speakers in convenient locations on either side of the unit. Usually a distance of five to eight feet between speakers provides the best stereo effect, but this may vary depending on the size and acoustics of the room. Locate the Right and Left Speaker jacks on the rear of the unit and connect the speakers to these jacks. CAUTION: Only connect the speakers which are supplied with the unit.
INSERTING AN iPod 1 2 If this unit is turned off, once you connect the iPod, it will start charging the battery until it is full. Then, if you disconnect the iPod, this unit will revert back to the mode that it was previously in. When the iPod is connected to this unit, it will be in the Pause mode. Insert the iPod (A) onto the connector (as shown). Gently push down so the connector on the iPod slides onto the connector on this unit. Push the iPod compartment back in gently.
OPERATION USING THE RADIO 1 With an iPod connected (see page 9), turn this unit on by pressing the Power button; the backlight will light blue brightly. 2 Press the band/find button repeatedly to select the desired band (AM or FM). NOTE: If the FM station you have selected is broadcasting in stereo, “ST” will appear in the display. 3 4 1 2 Repeatedly press the Skip To play/pause/stop the iPod: Press the Play/Pause ( ) button to start playback on your iPod.

To adjust the EQ (Equalizer): Press the EQ button on the remote (shown) or on the main unit to cycle through the following options: Classic Rock, Pop, Jazz Surround or Off (Normal).
OPERATION (CONTINUED) USB SD/MMC OPERATION 1. Set function switch to USB or SD status. 2. Insert USB or SD/MMC memorizer to USB or SD socket. 3. Press PLAY/PAUSE to control PLAY/PAUSE mode. 4. Turn volume button to adjust the sound volume. 5. Press STOP key to stop playing. 6. Press TUNING/SKIP + to play next track. 7. Press TUNING/SKIP - to play previous track. 8. Press Play MODE to select the repeat mode( Folder ALL RAN Norm al ).
OPERATION (CONTINUED) USING AN iPod WITH THIS UNIT 1 2 If you are not already in iPod mode, press FUNCTION button. You can operate the iPod using its own controls, as per its owner’s manual, and the sound will be heard through this unit’s speakers. Turn this unit on by pressing the Power button; the backlight will light blue.
OPERATION (CONTINUED) SETTING THE RADIO PRESETS (9 for each band) 1 2 2 3 1 Follow the steps on the previous page to tune a station. Press MEMOPY button; “MEMOPY” will appear and “1” will blink in the display. Within three seconds, press the PRESET - 1 or PRESET + 2 button to select a desired Preset. Press the MEMOPY button 3 again to confirm, the station will be saved into memory. Repeat to program additional presets in each band, as desired.
OPERATION (CONTINUED) USING CDs WITH THIS UNIT 1 2 1 2 Press the Disc Compartment “Push to Open” area and gently press the CD(s) onto the center spindle with the label side facing forward. Close the Disc Compartment. NOTE: 3 inch single, standard CDs and CD-R/RWs can be used with this unit. 3 Select the disc that you wish to playback will start automatically; the current track and elapsed playing time will appear in the display.
OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PAUSE A CD 1 During playback, press the Play/Pause ( ) button to pause playback (the elapsed time will blink) and press yet again to resume playback. DISC PLAYBACK NOTES: • If a disc is inserted incorrectly, dirty, damaged or not present at all, “NO DISC” will appear in the display. • Playback will stop when you open the playing disc’s compartment, but it is not recommended to open the compartment before the STOP ( ) button is pressed.
OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO BEGIN PLAYBACK FROM A SPECIFIC TRACK 1 2 1 2 With the desired disc selected, you may press either the Skip / Tuning+ 1 or Skip /Tuning- 2 button to select a specific track for playback. When the desired track is selected, press the Play/Pause ( ) button. Playback will begin with the track you selected.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to program additional tracks up to a maximum of 20 tracks.

First, start Program playback as previously described, then press the MODE button twice to enter the Repeat ALL mode and the program will play repeatedly. Programmed Repeat playback will continue indefinitely until you press the STOP ( ) button to cancel the Repeat and Program modes.
