Description Master Models UT-100Si and UT-200Si Ultratorch heat tools are variable temperature, selfigniting butane powered, multi-function heat tools. They can be operated as soldering irons or as flameless heat tools just by changing tips. Temperature is varied by adjusting the gas control lever.
Ignition Instructions 1. Set gas control lever to 3 and move On/Off lever to “ON”. In cold conditions, move gas lever higher, in warm, lower. 2. Push ignition button all the way down slowly, holding in down position for 3 seconds after it clicks. You may hear a whistling sound. 3. When catalyst inside of exhaust opening glows red, slowly release button. 4. If unit did not ignite, repeat. 5. To turn off, move On/Off lever to “OFF” position until it clicks.
How to Empty Tank of Butane Gas if Needed 1. Only empty fuel tank in a well ventilated area and away from ignition sources. Remember butane is heavier than air. 2. Depress the filler valve at the back of the tank with a small bladed screwdriver and let the butane gas escape through the small orifice opening. It takes approximately one minute for the butane to escape from the tank. Be careful that the butane does not hit against your fingers or hands. This could cause frostbite of the skin. 3.
