1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup our
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 – 16 oz. can chocolate syrup
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9” x 13” pan.
Combine, in the following order butter, eggs, vanilla, chocolate syrup,
sugar, baking powder, salt, and our, in Blender Jar. Press the CAKE
button. Bar Blender will stop when program has nished. Pour into
prepared pan. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes, test with toothpick. Just
before cake is done, prepare frosting. Remove cake from oven to a
cooling rack.

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
Put butter, chocolate chips, sugar and evaporated milk in sauce pan.
Cook over medium heat, bring to a boil. Boil for 2 – 3 minutes, stirring
constantly. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and nuts. Pour frosting
over warm cake.
