USING THE HOLE PUNCH (Fig. 3)
If the sanding sheet installed does
not have holes it will be necessary to
punch holes into the sanding sheet
using the hole punch (11) provided.
Place the hole punch (11) on a level
surface.
After attaching the sanding sheet,
align the base of the sander (6) with
the hole punch and push down on
the sander until the hole punch
pierces the sanding sheet.
Remove the sander from the hole punch.
DUST EXTRACTION (Fig. 4)
We recommend the use of the dust
collection box or a shop vacuum
at all times, and especially when
sanding medium density fibre board
(M.D.F).
WARNING! Do not use the dust
collection box (5) when sanding
metal. The hot metal particles could
cause residual wood dust or the box
itself to catch fire.
To attach the dust box (5), align the slots on the dust box with the dust
extraction port (7), slide it in fully.
For efficient operation, empty the dust collection box (5) when it is no more
than half full. This allows better airflow through the box.
We suggest that this cleaning is performed outside by gently tapping the filter
into a plastic bag to collect the dust. Wear a mask to prevent inhalation of dust.
Do not allow water to come into contact with the filter material, as it will
damage it.
