ASSEMBLY THE TINES UNPACKING This product requires assembly. • Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the package contents section are included. • Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping. • Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product. • If any parts are damaged or missing, please call 1-844-MSTR4CE (844-678-7423) for assistance.
ASSEMBLY THE HANDLE 1. Align the holes on the upper handle with the holes on the lower handle. Insert the bolts, and tighten them using the wing nuts provided. FIG. 3 Upper handle Bolt Lower handle THE BATTERY PACK WARNING Follow these instructions in order to avoid injury and to reduce the risk of electric shock or fire: • If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace the battery pack or the charger. • Stop the machine and wait until the engine stops before you install or remove the battery pack.
OPERATION START / STOP THE CULTIVATOR To start 1. Press the safety lock button. 2. Pull the bail switch toward the handle while you hold the safety lock button. 3. Release the safety lock button. To stop 1. Release the bail switch to stop the machine. FIG. 5 Bail switch Safety lock button OPERATION TIPS The cultivator can be used to break up garden soil and prepare a seedbed for planting. Plan ahead to leave enough room between the seed rows to allow for machine cultivating after the plants have grown.
MAINTENANCE CLEAN THE MACHINE • Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a vacuum cleaner. • Do not spray the air vent or put the air vent in solvents. • Clean the housing and the plastic components with a moist and soft cloth. CAUTION Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based materials touch the plastic parts. Chemicals can cause damage to the plastic, and make the plastic unserviceable. CAUTION STORE THE MACHINE • Clean the machine before storage.
