ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION NECESSARY TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY • 10 mm socket • Phillips screw driver • Extension ratchet IMPORTANT: THIS STORAGE LOCKER WILL FIT ON VIRTUALLY ANY CABINET 41" OR WIDER. THE UNIVERSAL MOUNTING SYSTEM FITS MOST TOOL STORAGE CABINETS WITH A TOP LIP MORE THAN 1/2" THICK AND AT LEAST 24" DEEP. HANG THE SIDE LOCKER NOTE: Two or more people may be required to complete this step. CAUTION: This product should not be mounted on an empty cabinet. Hang the side locker on your cabinet.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION INSTALL THE SHELVES TO REMOVE DRAWERS Insert the shelf support brackets into the slots on the side of the locker at the desired height. Make sure that all four shelf support brackets are at an equal height. Insert the shelf at an angle slightly above the brackets and lay down flat. Pull the drawer out so it is almost fully extended. PUSH UP on the black release lever on one side, while PULLING DOWN on the black release lever on the other side.
ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION TO REVERSE THE DOOR Put the door into position and fasten the screws on the hinge. The door is pre-installed with the hinge on the left. To install the door on the right, loosen the screws on the hinge and remove the door from the locker. Install the hanger and connecting channel on the left side of the locker. Turn the door upside down. Rotate the locking bar so that the longer section is on top and the shorter section is on the bottom.
MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY MAINTENANCE Lubricate the slides twice a year with a product like WD40 or other quality lubricant. This is especially important when the temperature decreases, as the bearing can become stiff. Periodically clean the drawer fronts, drawer trim, and other surfaces with mild detergent and water. Auto wax will preserve the storage unit’s luster finish. Apply the wax as you would to a car. The wax will also help protect the unit against scratches.
