UNPACKING
Carefully remove the product and any
accessories from the box. Make sure that
all items listed in the package contents
section are included.
Inspect the product carefully to make sure
no breakage or damage occurred during
shipping.
Do not discard the packing material
until you have carefully inspected and
satisfactorily operated the product.
If any parts are damaged or missing, please

assistance.
ATTACHING THE AUGER BIT
WARNING
To prevent accidental
starting that could cause serious personal
injury, always remove the battery pack from
the tool when assembling parts.

This auger powerhead shaft measures 7/8"
in diameter. It will work with most universal
sized bits designed for this size of shaft. This
unit will handle bits up to 10" in diameter.
Make sure you are using the correct bit for
the material you want to drill into.
Align the holes in the auger shaft with the
holes in the bit (sold separately).
Open the ring pin.
Insert the ring pin through the holes.
Close and lock the ring pin to secure the bit
to the auger shaft.
