OPERATION
REMOVE THE OPEN-LOOP
ACCESSORY

1. Make sure that the on/off switch is in
the OFF position and remove the battery
pack.
2. Turn the quick-release lever
counterclockwise until you hear a
“click” sound.
3. Remove the accessory from the tool.
NOTICE: Attach the accessory in the
desired orientation for the task at hand.
The shaft is configured so that most
application accessories can be installed
around the tool in 30° increments.
WARNING:
A blade should never
be attached so that it is facing backwards,
as operation in this position may cause
serious injury (FIG.5d).
WARNING:
Always wear protective
gloves when changing accessories. The
edges of the accessories are sharp and
can become very hot after working.
WARNING:
Check that the
accessories are correctly attached.
Incorrectly or insecurely fastened
accessories can come loose during
operation and cause a hazard.
NOTICE: The closed-loop accessories can
also be installed on the multi-tool.
1. Open the quick-release lever.
2. Unlock and remove the flange bolt.
3. Put the closed-loop accessory on the
accessory plate, insert the flange bolt
into the hole, and then lock the flange
bolt.
4. Turn the quick-release lever back.
CUTTING
Saw blades are ideal for making precise
cuts in tight areas, close to edges or flush
to a surface.
1. Select a medium to high speed for
making the initial plunge.
2. Start at medium speed for increased
control.
3. After making your initial cut, you may
increase speed for faster cutting.
