OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. To check the safety valve Before using this tank, pull the ring on the safety valve to make sure that the safety valve operates smoothly (Fig 1). Do not use air tank if the safety valve is stuck or does not operate smoothly. Safety Valve Fig 1 WARNING: Risk of bursting. If the safety valve does not work properly, over-pressurization may occur, causing air tank rupture or an explosion. 2.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: Before connecting the air hose to the tank , make sure that the pressure in the tank is 90 PSI and below (Fig 3). 1. Connecting (1) Close the air cock (Fig 2). (2) Connect the compressor by connecting the air hose to the quick plug of the tank. (3) Connect to the application by connecting the air hose to the tank's quick couplers. (Fig 3) (4) Slowly open the air cocks.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 2. Adjustment of outlet pressure Only one outlet's pressure is regulated (see fig 4). Adjust the outlet pressure to the required level by turning the knob of the pressure regulator clockwise to increase the outlet pressure and counter clockwise to decrease it. Tool gauge is provided to show when the required pressure is reached. When adjusting the pressure, check and make sure that tank gauge for the tank has the pressure level that is higher than that of the pressure to be adjusted.
MAINTENANCE Procedure for draining condensation from tank: 1. Regularly drain water condensation from tank, which can lead to internal corrosion and damage to the tank. To drain, keep all air cocks to the "OFF" position (Fig 5). 2. Turn air pressure regulator knob counter-clockwise to set the outlet pressure to zero (Fig 5). 3. Place suitable container under unit to catch water. 4. Slightly tilt unit and turn drain valve counter-clockwise to open (Fig 6). 5.
