GENERAL SAFETY RULEs PRODUCT SAFETY WARNING Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are: ● Lead from lead-based paints; ● Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products; ● Arsenic and chromium from chemicallytreated lumber.
GENERAL SAFETY RULE before turning the power tool on.A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. • Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. • Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. ELECTRICAL DOUBLE INSULATION Double insulation is a safety concept for electric power tools, which eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with protecting insulation. Double insulated tools do not need to be grounded. WARNING The double insulated system is intended to protect the user from shock resulting from a break in the tool’s internal wiring.

OPERATION OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully. Intended Use The machine is intended for dry sanding–with high removal capacity–of wood, plastic, metal, filler as well as varnished surfaces. 1. F) You must use the dust collection bag provided to collect the dust produced during sanding. The dust collection bag plastic bracket slides down onto the dust outlet on the belt sander. WORKING HINTS FOR YOUR BELT SANDER If your power tool becomes too hot, especially when used at low speed, set the speed to maximum and run with no load for 2-3 minutes to cool the motor. Avoid prolonged usage at very low speed. Always use a sanding belt suited to the material you wish to sand. Always ensure the work-piece is firmly held or clamped to prevent movement. Support large panels close to the sanding area. Any movement of the material may affect the quality of the sanding finish.

OPERACIÓN 5. CAMBIO DE LA CINTA LIJADORA Desenchufe el cable del tomacorriente antes de cambiar la cinta lijadora. Levante la palanca (10) para liberar la tensión de la cinta. Saque la cinta vieja y coloque la nueva sobre los dos rodillos (Vea la Fig. D). Verifique que las flechas de sentido de rotación de la cinta y de la lijadora coincidan. SUGERENCIAS DE TRABAJO PARA SU HERRAMIENTA Si su herramienta eléctrica se calienta demasiado, especialmente al usarla en bajas velocidades, ajuste la velocidad al máximo y hágala funcionar sin carga por 2-3 minutos para enfriar el motor. Evite el uso prolongado a velocidades muy bajas. Use siempre la cinta lijadora apropiada para material a lijar. Asegúrese siempre de que la pieza de trabajo esté firmemente sujetada para evitar el movimiento. Sostenga los paneles grandes cerca del área a lijar.
