GENERAL SAFETY RULEs PRODUCT SAFETY WARNING Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are: ● Lead from lead-based paints; ● Crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products; ● Arsenic and chromium from chemicallytreated lumber.
GENERAL SAFETY RULE before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. ● Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. ● Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

GENERAL USE STATEMENT (APPLICATIONS) WARNING Do not attempt to use this product until you thoroughly read and completely understand the instruction manual. Pay close attention to the safety rule, includ- ing Danger, Warnings, and Cautions. WARNING The operation of any tool can result in foreign objects being thrown into your eyes, which can result in severe eye damage.
ELECTRICAL DOUBLE INSULATION Double insulation is a safety concept for electric power tools, which eliminates the need for the usual three-wire grounded power cord. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with protecting insulation. Double insulated tools do not need to be grounded. WARNING The double insulated system is intended to protect the user from shock resulting from a break in the tool’s internal wiring.

OPERATION OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Fig. A2 NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully. 1. CHANGING THE SAND PAPER (SEE FIG A1, A2) To remove the sand paper, lift up the clamp lever (8) and move away from the clamp lever lock (6). The sand paper clamp (7) is now loose. Repeat with the other clamp on the opposite side of your sander. To fit new sand paper, insert approximately 5mm of one end of the sand paper under the sand paper clamp (7) until the paper contacts the housing wall.
OPERATION EMPTY DUST BOX (SEE FIG B2) For more efficient operation, empty dust box every 5-10mins. This will permit the air to flow through the box better. To empty the dust box, remove it from the dust extraction port, shake out dust. Fig. C2 Fig. B2 4. OPERATING THE SWITCH (SEE FIG D) To start your sander, depress the protective cover over the switch at the position marked“I”. To stop your sander, depress the protective cover at the position marked “0”.
WORKING HINTS FOR YOUR PALM SANDER Always use sand paper that is suitable for the material you want to sand. Always ensure the workpiece is firmly held or clamped to prevent movement. Any movement of the material may affect the quality of the sanding finish. Start your sander before sanding and turn it off only after you stop sanding. For the best results, sand wood in the direction of the grain. Do not start sanding without having the sandpaper fitted.

A1, A2) Para retirar el papel de lija, levante la palanca (8) y aléjela del bloqueo de la palanca de pinza (6). La pieza de sujeción del papel de lija (7) ahora está suelta. Repita el procedimiento con la pieza de sujeción situada del otro lado de la lijadora.
OPERACIÓN VACIADO DEL RECIPIENTE PARA POLVO (VER FIG. B2) Para un funcionamiento más eficaz, vacíe el recipiente para polvo cada 5-10 minutos. Esto permitirá una mejor circulación de aire dentro del recipiente. Para vaciar el recipiente para polvo, retírelo primero de la lijadora y luego ábralo para extraer el polvo. Fig. C2 Fig. B2 4. SUGERENCIAS DE TRABAJO PARA SU HERRAMIENTA Utilice siempre una hoja de lija que sea adecuado para el material que desea lijar. Asegúrese siempre de que la pieza de trabajo esté firmemente sujeta -con o sin abrazaderas- para evitar el movimiento. Cualquier movimiento del material puede afectar la calidad de acabado. Encienda su lijadora antes de lijar y apáguela recién después de haber terminado. Para mejores resultados, lije la madera en dirección del grano del papel.
