Print head replacement procedure
As the print head is the most important component of the printer, it is advisable to carry out the recommended cleaning
procedures in order to guarantee maximum quality at all times and longest possible service life.
However, the print head may become worn and must be replaced after a certain period of time.
Replacement procedure
1)
Unplug the printer from the power supply.
2)
Open the Top cover. 3) Remove the print head. Press in the direction
indicated by the arrow to loosen the spring and
to release this from its housing.
4) Remove the earth wire and the connector, 5) Insert the new print head. During re-insertion,
connect these to the new print head and
make a note of the Print Head Serial No.
press with the sphere present in the tip of the
print head on the point indicated in the figure and
rotate it slightly in order to insert it in its housing.
