SLIMLINE FRAME INSTALLATION

MATRIX

Décor Screens come pre-packed with a slimline frame. Simply drill a 3/16” hole through

the frame and screen, then a 1/2” hole through the screen only, then screw to any rigid structure. For

best results, we recommend using our specially designed screws in the MATRIX

Screen Mounting

Kit.

Tools & Hardware Required

Before you begin, select the installation option from the diagrams that is closest to your requirements.

1. Clear a space to prepare the screen for installation. The plastic wrapping from the screen can

be used to protect the screen while you are working.

2. Remove the two long U-channels from the screen. Center the top U-channel to the screen

panel and push it in so there is no gap. Drill a 1/8” hole through one side of the top U-channel

and screen only. Then drive one short screw (supplied attached to this label) through the back

of the U-channel and into the screen.

3. Put the two long U-channels back onto the sides of the screen. Slide them up to the top U-

channel so they overlap in the top corners (Fig. 1).

4. Measure each position for the mounting holes and mark on the U-channels as per the selected installation option. 5. Drill 3/16” holes through the U-channel and screen where marked (Fig. 1). 6. Remove the long U-channels from the screen and drill out the 3/16” holes in the screen ONLY with a 1/2” drill bit (Fig. 2). IMPORTANT: These oversized holes are crucial as they allow the screen to expand and contract with temperature changes. 7.
