6. Lower the CPU fan/heatsink unit onto the CPU and

CPU socket and then snap the fan/heatsink into place.

7. Plug the CPU fan power cable into the CPU cooling

fan power supply on the mainboard (CPUFAN1).

Note:

After you have assembled the system, you must set

the correct clock speed and frontside bus (FSB)

speed. Check the jumper section in Appendix A if

your mainboard has jumpers that control the FSB,

and refer to Frequency/Voltage Control on page 61

for more information.
