PID Metric Description
Continuity Errors The number of DVB packets received whose continuity counter fields (in the packet header)
were not 1 greater than the previous DVB packet received on that PID. Continuity Errors
indicate that one or more DVB packets were lost for that PID.
Reset PID Counters Selecting this button will reset all counters in the Total DVB Packets, Total IP Packets, Missed
Frame Headers, and Short Frames columns back to zero (0).
System Health Metrics
Information related to the receiver CPU is shown on this page in Figure 2- 57.

The following metrics are displayed by the System Health Metrics page:
Health Metric Description
CPU Fan Speed This is the speed of the fan that is mounted on the CPU heat sink, in Revolutions Per Minute
(RPM). If the RPM lowers over time, this may indicate that the fan is getting dirty or needs
replacement.
Chassis Fan Speed This is the speed of the fan (in RPM) that is mounted on the right side ventilation holes on the
chassis (when viewing from the front of the receiver).
CPU Surface
Temperature
This is the surface temperature in degrees Celsius of the CPU chip.
Configuration
When the Configuration Menu Tool Bar item is selected, a submenu page appears which provides menu items relating
to configuration functions within the receiver. These are described in the following sections. Note that some submenu
items will only appear when the appropriate special feature or option is purchased and installed (e.g. Redundancy
Configuration – see Appendices).
