Recline the Car Seat
Squeeze the recline handle
and rotate the car seat to any
blue position
that will put
the angle indicator ball in the
blue zone.

Place Car Seat Rear-
Facing in Back Seat
Check the Rear-Facing
Recline Angle Indicator
The angle indicator ball must
be in the blue zone when
used Rear-Facing.
Recline the car seat to
achieve the proper angle, see
step 7.

Tighten Belt
Place hand in child restraint.
Firmly push child restraint
down and towards the vehicle
seat back while pulling the
free end of the belt parallel
with the belt path through the
belt path opening as shown.
Attach Lower Anchor/
UAS Connector to
Vehicle’s Lower/UAS
Anchor
Review your vehicle owner’s
manual for lower/UAS anchor
locations and lower anchor/
UAS belt use.
Make sure arrows on
connectors are facing up.
Fasten one lower anchor/UAS
belt connector to the anchor
located in the vehicle seat
bight.
Repeat for other side of
child restraint.

Lower Anchor/UAS Belt
Lays below the bottom
notch as shown.
