LED T5 Tube

WARNING

• Risk of shock. Disconnect power before installaon. Only replace with the same type of

LED tube.

• Risk of re. Use only in place of uorescent lamps specied on product label. Do not install

this lamp in a pre-heat luminaire.

• Direct replacement for F54T5/54W uoresent lamps or electronic ballasts that support

F54T5/54W uorescent lamp operaon ONLY.

• Not dimmable. Do not connect to dimmers.

• This lamp only operates on T5 electronic ballasts. If lamp does not light from luminaire,

contact Maximus Lighng or a qualied electrician.

• If the lamp or luminaire exhibits undesireable operaon, such as buzzing or ickering,

immediately turn o power, remove lamp from luminaire, and contact Maximus Lighng.

• Before installaon, ensure AC power to xture is o.

SAFETY INFORMATION

In order to comply with published safety standards, the following must be observed when

using this product:

1. Check the lamp before installaon. If there is any damage caused during transportaon, do

not install.

2. These LED tubes are intended for lighng systems only.

3. Maintenance should be carried out by qualied personnel only.

4. LEDs are extremely bright. Do not look directly at the LED light source for extended me as

over-exposure may cause harm to the eyes.

5. Do not place any objects on the lamp.

6. Avoid abnormal heang or moisture condions (direct sunlight, open ame, high

temperature objects).

7. LED tubes are for indoor use only.

8. If the glass lamp tube is broken, the lamp must be disposed immediately.

9. LED tubes are not intended to be repaired by the manufacturer or service agency in case of

failure or component defect.

10. LED tubes do not rely upon the luminaire enclosure for protecon against accidental

contact with live parts.

11. LED tubes are intended to be used in dry and damp locaons only.

MAINTENANCE INFORMATION

1. Disconnect the lamp from the power supply before any maintenance.

2. Clean luminaire with a dry cloth.

3. Do not clean the lamp with corrosive chemicals.

Installation Fig. 1 1. (Fig. 1) Turn power off to fixture. 2. Remove lens or diffuser (if applicable). 3. (Fig. 2) Remove existing fluorescent lamps from the luminaire. Verify that the lamp designation is F54T5/54W. If not, confirm on ballast label that Fig. 2 ballast used in the fixture supports an F54T5/54W lamp. 4. (Fig. 3) Insert the LED lamp into the luminaire by placing the pins into the luminaire lampholders (both ends at the same time). 5. (Fig. 4) Rotate the LED lamp until the lamp pins Fig.
