CINEMA 4D R11 Quickstart – Sketch and Toon
Navigate to your CINEMA 4D directory. You will find a number of presets under Library / Sketch / Styles.
Select “QS_Outlines_Final.c4d“. This style is good for technical illustrations. Render the scene.
Again the rendering looks different. Now the lines which are normally hidden are displayed as dashed lines.
Along with the preset two additional materials were placed into the Material Manager – “Visible“ and “Hidden“.
“Visible“ defines the look of the visible lines and “Hidden“ that of the hidden lines. The “Sketch Material“ is no
longer being used.
