94 CHAPTER 3
CONFIGURATION 95
For rotation and scale keys:
Value Threshold
0.1% 0.00000001
1% 0.000001
10% 0.0001
100% 0.01
So with 10%, rotation and scale keys that deviate by less that 0.0001 are considered to be identical.
The threshold values for translation keys are one hundred times greater than those for rotation and
scale.
Start At Frame Zero
If this option is enabled, the imported animation will start at frame 0 instead of at the frame dened
in the le (which could be, say, frame 456).
An additional option, “Frame Rate”, is now available for exporting FBX les that were not created in
CINEMA 4D. As the name states, this option lets you dene the frame rate.
When importing FBX les that were not created using CINEMA 4D, an additional option is now
available: Frame Rate. This option lets you set the frame rate.
Note:
FBX 6 loads old scenes (that were saved using the FBX 5 plugin or MB 5.x)
relatively slowly. Once the scene has been saved using FBX 6, loading it will
become much faster.
FBX Export Settings
Note:
The FBX plugin has been adapted to FBX 6. For purposes of compatibility, les
can still be exported in FBX 5 format (select File / Export / FBX 5.0). The “Field
of View” camera setting can also be exported as an animated setting.
