OBJECTS MENU DEFORMERS 453
If you have attached a ag to a rope, place the wind deformer in an object group with the rope and
the ag. Then, both the rope and ag will move in the wind.
Wrap
In the viewport, you’ll see that the wrap deformer has a at surface and a curved surface. The
curved surface represents the part of the sphere or cylinder around which the recipient object will
be wrapped. The straight surface represents the total area that can be wrapped around the curved
surface. If the recipient object is larger than the at surface, then only the part that lies within the at
surface’s borders will deform correctly onto the curved surface.
Drag the orange handles on the X-axis and Y-axis to change the dimensions of the at surface
interactively in the viewport. Drag the handle on the Z-axis to change the radius of the sphere or
cylinder.

Object Properties
Width, Height
These settings dene the width and height of the at surface. If the recipient is larger than the at
surface, it will wrap onto and beyond the cyan curved surface. If the recipient is smaller than the at
surface, it will wrap on to and within the curved surface (it will not cover the entire curved surface).
To change the transform area interactively, drag the orange handles on the X-axis and Y-axis.
Radius
This value denes the radius of the cylinder or sphere (see below) around which the recipient is
wrapped.
