RENDERING RENDER SETTINGS 677
Render Settings
The settings in this dialog control many aspects of the rendering process; be sure to check all the
values before you commit to a nal render of your scene or animation.
The render settings are saved automatically with the scene.
General
File Menu
The render settings dialog window offers a “File” menu, with which you can save and load render
presets.
A preset saved here will be saved to the Content Browser (Presets/User). Render presets can also be
deleted from the Content Browser.
A saved render preset includes all render presets and any post effects that were dened.
Saving render presets lets you easily save predened render presets which can later be quickly loaded.
Some of the possible uses:
Test rendering without antialiasing, transparency, shadow, etc.
Final rendering, including Multi-Pass.
Rendering only a specic frame range within the animation.
You can also save the render presets to the Content Browser per drag & drop. Simply drag a given
preset from the left side of the render presets dialog window (e.g. “General” or Antialiasing”, etc.)
onto the “Presets/User” directory. All current, applicable render presets will be saved.
Inversely, render presets can also be dragged from the Content Manager and dropped into the render
presets dialog window. An even simpler method is to simply double-click on the render preset!
