À Antenna socket

Á Channel selector

Â Volume control: The volume control is the ON/OFF

switch and controls the speaker volume.

Ã Status LED: Illuminates and flashes in different colours to

tell you the current status of your radio.

Ä Battery release catch

SIDE PANELS

Å PTT button: activates the transmitter for speech. Hold the

button down while you are talking.

Æ Monitor button: allows a channel to be monitored. This

button may be used to assist clarity if the audio chops on

and off whilst receiving.

Ç Option button: controls any internally fitted option i.e. an

inversion scrambling board.
