AND COMPLETELY BEFORE BEGINNING

THE INSTALLATION.

PRIOR TO INSTALLATION:

Factory service manual is recommended to have on hand.

2. Secure and properly block vehicle prior to beginning installation

Always wear safety glasses when using power tools or working under the vehicle

Modifications to any part will void the warranty associated with that product.

5. Jack up front of vehicle, place jack stands under frame, behind front suspension.

After removing parts from vehicle, save hardware for reinstallation

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU HAVE YOUR VEHICLE’S ALIGNMENT CHECKED WHENEVER INSTALLING

NEW TIRES. IT IS ALSO RECOMMENDED THAT YOU ADJUST YOUR HEADLIGHTS WHENEVER YOUR

VEHICLE’S RIDE HEIGHT IS ALTERED.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – 702235 1. Unbolt the brake caliper and remove, then support out of the way (do not allow it to hang by the brake line.) 2. Remove the brake rotor. 3. Remove the tie rod nut, then break the tie rod loose by hitting the side of the spindle with a hammer (Do not hit the tie rod on threads) 4. Unbolt ABS sensor and hang out of the way. 5. Unbolt unit bearing. 6. Remove unit bearing and dust shield together, discard dust shield. 7.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS – 702235 10. Break the lower ball joint loose by hitting the side of the spindle with a hammer. The nut will catch the spindle 11. Remove the factory spindle completely. 12. Install the new Maxtrac Suspension 3.5” Lift spindle, and tighten the lower ball joint. 13. Attach the upper arm to the spindle, then tighten the upper ball joint. 14. Attach the unit bearing back, using the 2 original short bolts and 1 provided bolt. 15.

(This will speed up the bleeding process) 20. Attach the brake line to the caliper using the factory bolt, and provided washers. 21.
