Storage Setup Settings

The Storage Setup menu allows the administra-

tor to configure various settings according to the

disks and volumes installed.

The following information is displayed:

Disk Information:

• Name: Displays the name of the HDD.

• Model: Displays HDD model.

• Capacity: Displays the HDD capacity.

• Status: Displays storage volume location.

For more information related to an installed

HDD, double-click ‘Disk name’. The following

screen will appear:

• Maximum speed: Displays the maximum speed of the disk.

• The bad sector count feature allows a maximum of 512 blocks. When the count reaches

384, the system will automatically notify the user. Once the count has reached the maxi-

mum of 512, the system will disable the hard disk.

All of the error counters information will be reset to zero following system

reboot.

Once the bad sector count has reached 384, we strongly recommend

replacing the hard disk immediately to prevent any data loss.
