3 Basic settings
3.1. Set Display Language
The displays on the Merk II Audio Codec/Mixer can appear in various languages. On
delivery the devices are set to English. This is why all the respective illustrations in this
handbook show the display in English.
The language used in the display can be set using the keys on the front of the housing:
• Select the SETUP option in the start mask (see Figure 4). The Setup mask appears.
• Select MISCELLANEOUS. The following mask appears:

• Select the LANGUAGE line with the key and press .
• Confirm the restart report and press again. The selection of the possible languages
appears.
• Select the desired language with the or the key and press again.
The device starts again (”Reboot”). After this the information shown in the display will be in
the selected language.
