5.1.4. Set Communication Interface
You can determine via which communication interface a connection is to be established.
The following are available
– ISDN,
– Loop (for test purposes) and when the MERK II is correspondingly configured,
– NET
To set the communication interface, proceed as follows:
(a) Via the front panel:
• Select the SETUP option in the Start mask (see Figure 4). The Setup mask appears.
• Select COMMUNICATION INTERFACE and press . The following mask appears:

• Press .
• Select the desired communication interface with the help of the and keys and
press
• End the setting by pressing .
(b) Via the remote control software:
With the remote control software the communication interfaces and if necessary the
network address are selected in the “Connect” dialog (see also section "Set up
Connection").
