Mayku PPE Masks

Mayku have collaborated with the Royal Academy of Engineering and the University of Leeds to create an open-source
N95 style medical mask that can be manufactured on a desktop using a 3D printer and the Mayku FormBox.
The original Care-Mayku Mask was tested using specic lter material, Separet 2402 and Separet 1520, produced by
Freudenberg Filtration Technologies KG. It has been tested in accordance with the EN 1827:1999 + A1:2009 European
Standard for particle ltering half masks with separable lters in accordance with the EU 2020/403 recommendation for
minimum test requirements appropriate for the specic circumstances of healthcare workers during the COVID-19
pandemic
Due to the difculty in obtaining stock of Separet lter materials during a global pandemic, Mayku are sharing the Mayku
Mask instructions as an open-source resource in order to support the supply and demand of critical PPE during COVID-19
and beyond. We have included a list of suggested alternative lter materials, but you may wish to conduct your own
tests locally.
