6. Alarm Instructions
CAM1 and CAM2 of this production have each an alarm function. When the trigger terminal and
GND is shorted, the alarm is activate, the speaker of the indoor monitor rings and continues the
duration according to the menu “Setting->Camera setting->Camera 1/Camera 2 -> Alarm time”,
during this time, touch “ ” to stop alarming and enter the standby mode.
For the models with SD card, simultaneously, triggers recording or snapshotting(related to the
system settings). The recording time is 120s, during this time, touch “ ” to stop alarming and
enter the standby mode.
Be applicable to connect 2 normally closed (NC) or normally open (NO) alarm inputs.
2 camera channels of alarm input without limitations on input type (can either be the
normally open type or the normally closed type).
ALM terminal of the alarm detector is connected in parallel with the ALM terminal (The
alarm detector shall be supplied by external power supply).
Ground terminal of the alarm detector is connected in parallel with the GND terminal of
the camera.
For NO alarm inputs, when the GND and ALM are in the connection state, it will trigger
the alarm.
For NC alarm inputs, when the GND and ALM are in the disconnect state, it will trigger
the alarm.
It applys to any alarm sensor.

7. How to connect the indoor monitor with Alexa?
Requirement:
1). Alexa device(one Echo device, including Echo, Echo Tap, Echo Dot or Echo Show)
and Alexa app;
2). Make sure your network can access the Amazon service network smoothly.
3). Tuya Smart app user ID and password;
4). Ensure the indoor monitor connected with Tuya Smart app, and the device name to
an easily identifiable name such as “IP monitor”;
A. The following is an example using Amazon Echo:
1. Complete product networking configuration in Tuya Smart App.
Complete the device’s networking configuration according to the section 5.4 Set up IP
monitor in the app.
Note: In the App, change the name of the device to an easily identifiable name such as
Alexa; names are usually in English, such as “bedroom light”.
2. Configure the Amzon Echo device.
(If you have already configured Amazon Echo, you an skip this step. The following
instructions are based on the IOS client)
1). Make sure your Amazon Echo device is power on and connected to a Wi-Fi network.
2). Open the Alexa app on your phone. After successful
login, tap on the menu in the upper left corner of the
Home page, select “Settings” and tap “Set Up A New
Device” to set up the Amazon Echo.
3). Choose your Amazon Echo device type and language
for connecting. Press and hold the small dot on the
device until the light turns yellow. Then tap “Continue”
to connect to the hotspot.
