INTRODUCTION Jenn-Air Professional Ranges are designed with a number of unique features certain to provide years of cooking enjoyment for the novice or experienced chef. Ranges are available in 30” and 36” widths. The large capacity electric ovens of the Dual Fuel Range are self-cleaning and feature convection baking. All models offer a minimum of (4) 15,000 Btu/hr sealed top burners. Dual-flow simmer burners are provided, and offer a low turn down of 570-1,200 Btu/hr.

UNPACKING AND HANDLING MOVING AND PLACING THE RANGE The ranges have shipping weights varying from 420 lbs. to 630 lbs. less approx. 50 lbs. after removal of packing material. It is recommended that the door, grates, and front kick panel be removed to facilitate handling. This will reduce the weight for ease of handling. Kick Panel Fig. 2 CAUTION: Proper equipment and adequate manpower must be used in moving the range to avoid damage to the unit or the floor.
UNPACKING AND HANDLING Remove the kick panel by removing two screws at the top and pulling forward. The range is held to the skid by two bolts in the front behind the kick panel, (fig. 3) and two L-brackets located on the bottom flange of the range back (fig. 3). After removing the bolts and brackets, the range must be lifted and removed from the skid.
VENTILATION REQUIREMENTS A suitable exhaust hood must be installed above the range. The following chart indicates the minimum blower capacity recommended for hood ventilation. INSTALLING ANTI-TIP DEVICE All ranges must have an anti-tip device correctly installed as per the following instructions. If you pull the range out from the wall for any reason, make sure that the device is properly engaged when you push the range back against the wall. If it is not, there is a possible risk of the range tipping over and causing injury if you or a child stand, sit or lean on an open oven door.
CABINET PREPARATION 1) The range is a free standing unit. If the unit is to be placed adjacent to cabinets, the clearances shown in fig. 9 (PRD3630) & fig. 10 (PRD3030) are required. The same clearances apply to island installations. 2) The range can be placed in various positions with respect to the cabinet front, with the front either flush or projecting, depending on the countertop depth. 3) The gas and electrical supply should be within the zones shown (fig. 9, 10 & 11).

BACKGUARD INSTALLATION BACKGUARD KITS: Model PRD3030 is shipped standard with a 9”Low backguard. High Shelf backguards, Island Trims and the Low Back for Model PRD3630 must be ordered separately. Specific instructions for installation of the High Shelf backguard, Low backguard or Island Trim Backguard can be found packaged with the backguard. All backguards or island trims must be installed on the range before the unit is pushed into the cabinet.
ELECTRICAL / GAS CONNECTIONS RECOMMENDED GROUNDING METHOD This appliance is factory equipped with a power supply cord with a four-prong grounding plug. It must be plugged into a mating grounding, type receptacle, connected to a correctly polarized 120/240 volt circuit.
HOOK-UP TO GAS SUPPLY CAUTION: The appliance must be isolated from the building’s gas supply piping system by closing its individual manual shut-off valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psig (3.5kPa.). The appliance and its individual shut-off valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of the system at the test pressures in excess of 1/2 psig (3.5kPa.).
INSTALLER FINAL CHECKLIST GENERAL Placement of unit. Specified clearance maintained to cabinet surfaces. Unit Level - front to back, side to side. All packaging material and tie straps removed, drip pans clean and empty. Backguard attached if there is less than 12" clearance above the cooking surface to combustibl construction behind unit. Island trim attached if there is more than 12” clearance above the cooking surface to the combustible construction behind the unit.

Ces cuisinières sont disponibles en modèles de 30 et 36 po (76,2 et 91,5 cm) de largeur. Les fours électriques à grande capacité de la cuisinière mixte sont autonettoyants et à convection.Tous les modèles offrent un minimum de (4) brûleurs supérieurs étanches de 15.000 Btu/h.

DÉBALLAGE ET MANUTENTION DÉPLACEMENT ET POSITIONNEMENT DE LA CUISINIÈRE Les cuisinières ont des poids d’expédition variant de 420 à 630 lbs. (190,5 à 285,7 kg) moins environ 50 lbs. (22,6 kg) après avoir retiré le matériau d’emballage. Il est conseillé d’enlever la porte, les grilles et la plaque de bas de cuisinière pour faciliter toute manutention. DÉBALLAGE ET MANUTENTION Pour retirer la plaque de bas de cuisinière, enlevez deux vis en haut et tirez vers l’avant. La cuisinière est retenue sur la palette par deux boulons sur le devant derrière la plaque de bas de cuisinière (fig. 3) et deux consoles en L situées sur le rebord inférieur du dos de la cuisinière (fig. 3). Après avoir retiré les boulons et consoles, la cuisinière doit être soulevée et enlevée de la palette.
EXIGENCES CONCERNANT LA VENTILATION Une hotte d’évacuation adéquate doit être installée au-dessus de la cuisinière. Le tableau ci-dessous indique la capacité minimum de ventilateur recommandée pour la ventilation de la hotte. INSTALLATION DU DISPOSITIF ANTIBASCULEMENT Toutes les cuisinières doivent être munies d’un dispositif antibasculement correctement installé conformément aux instructions suivantes. Si vous tirez la cuisinière du mur pour quelque raison que ce soit, vérifiez que le dispositif est correctement enclenché lorsque vous repoussez la cuisinière contre le mur.

INSTALLATION DU DOSSERET KITS DE DOSSERETS : Le modèle PRD3030 est expédié standard muni d’un dosseret bas de 9 po (22,9 cm). Les dosserets tablettes hauts, les habillages pour installation en îlot et le dosseret bas pour le modèle PRD3630 doivent être commandés séparément. Les instructions spécifiques à l’installation du dosseret-tablette haut, du dosseret bas ou du dosseret habillage pour installation en îlot se trouvent dans l’emballage .
RACCORDEMENT DU GAZ ET DE L’ÉLECTRICITÉ MÉTHODE DE MISE À TERRE RECOMMANDÉE Cet appareil est équipé d’un cordon d’alimentation avec une fiche de mise à la terre à quatre broches. La fiche doit être branchée dans une prise avec mise à la terre correspondante connectée à un circuit correctement polarisé de 120/240 volts.

INTRODUCCIÓN Las estufas Jenn-Air Professional están diseñadas con varias características exclusivas que sin duda proporcionarán muchos años de satisfacción al cocinar para chefs novicios o experimentados. Las estufas están disponibles en anchos de 30 y 36 pulgadas (76,2 y 91,5 cm). Los hornos eléctricos de gran capacidad de la estufa para dos combustibles son de limpieza automática y tienen cocción por convección.

DESEMBALAJE Y MANIPULACIÓN PARA MOVER Y COLOCAR EN SU SITIO LA ESTUFA Las estufas tienen pesos de envío que varían de 420 libras a 630 libras (190,5 a 285,7 kg), menos aproximadamente 50 libras (22,6 kg) después de retirar el material de embalaje. Se recomienda que se retire la puerta, las rejillas, y la placa de defensa delantera para facilitar el manejo. Esto reducirá el peso y facilitará el manejo. Placa de defensa Fig.
DESEMBALAJE Y MANIPULACIÓN Retire la placa de defensa extrayendo dos tornillos en la parte superior y tirando hacia adelante. La estufa se fija en la base (skid) mediante dos tornillos en la parte delantera atrás de la placa de defensa, (fig. 3) y dos soportes con forma de L situados en la pestaña inferior de la parte posterior de la estufa (fig. 3). Después de extraer los pernos y los soportes, se debe alzar la estufa y se debe retirar de la base.
REQUISITOS DE VENTILACIÓN Se debe instalar una campana adecuada arriba de la estufa. La tabla siguiente indica la capacidad mínima del ventilador recomendado para la ventilación de la campana. INSTALACIÓN DEL DISPOSITIVO CONTRA LADEOS Todas las estufas tienen que tener un dispositivo contra ladeos instalado correctamente de acuerdo a las instrucciones siguientes. Si tira de la estufa separándola de la pared por cualquier motivo, asegúrese de que el dispositivo esté correctamente enganchado cuando empuje la estufa nuevamente contra la pared. Si no, existe un riesgo de que se ladee la estufa y cause lesiones si usted o un niño se paran, sientan o apoyan sobre la puerta abierta de un horno.
PREPARACIÓN DEL GABINETE 1) La estufa es una unidad independiente. Si se colocara la unidad al lado de los gabinetes, es nece sario dejar las separaciones mostradas en la fig. 9 (PRD3630) y fig. 10 (PRD3030). Se aplican las mis mas separaciones para las instalaciones en islas. 2) Se pude colocar la estufa en varias posiciones con respecto a la parte delantera del gabinete, con la parte delantera al ras o proyectándose, de acuerdo a la profundidad del mostrador.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA PLACA POSTERIOR JUEGOS DE PLACA POSTERIOR: El Modelo PRD3030 se envía estándar con una placa posterior baja de 9 pulg. (22,9 cm). Se deben pedir por separado las placas posteriores altas, las terminaciones para islas y la placa posterior baja para el modelo PRD3630. Se pueden encontrar instrucciones específicas para la instalación de la placa posterior con estante alto, la placa posterior baja o la placa posterior con terminación para isla empaquetadas con el producto.
CONEXIONES ELÉCTRICA Y DE GAS MÉTODO RECOMENDADO PARA LA PUESTA A TIERRA Este aparato viene equipado de fábrica con un cordón de alimentación con un enchufe de cuatro terminales con puesta a tierra. Se debe enchufar en un receptáculo del tipo correspondiente, conectado a un circuito correctamente polarizado de 120/240 voltios.
CONEXIÓN AL SUMINISTRO DE GAS PRECAUCIÓN: Se debe aislar el aparato del sistema doméstico de tubería de suministro de gas del edificio cerrando sus válvulas manuales de cierre y probando a presión el sistema de tubería de suministro de gas a presiones de 1/2 psig (3.5kPa.) o menores.
