Connection and control elements
(35) PHONO/LINE input
Connection for record players or devices with LINE/CD level
This input can be used for devices with PHONO or LINE level. Be sure to observe the position
of the PHONO/LINE switch (36) to avoid an incorrect setting.
(36) PHONO/LINE switch
Use this switch to select the input sensitivity of the PHONO/LINE input (35). If a record player is connected to the
PHONO/LINE input (35), the respective PHONO/LINE switch must be set to PHONO (switch is not pressed). If a
device with a LINE/CD level is connected to the PHONO/LINE input, the respective PHONO/LINE switch must be
set to LINE (switch is pressed).
Only put the switch in the PHONO position if a record player is connected. Select LINE for
any other devices.
The input signal is distorted if the switch position is incorrect. There is the risk of damage to
the connected amplifier or the loudspeakers. Only press the switch when the mixer is not
switched on. If no device is connected to the sockets, set the switch to LINE.
(37) GND connection
To prevent hum trouble, a ground connection can be established via this screw clamp between the mixer and the
ground line of the record player (usually black cable with clamp-type socket).
(38) MIC AUX SEND connection
The set MIC signal of the AUX control (3) is present at the MIC AUX SEND socket.
(39) MIC AUX RETURN connection
The MIC AUX RETURN sockets (L + R) can be used as the input for a modified stereo effect signal. However,
sockets MIC AUX RETURN L and MIC AUX RETURN R can also be used as an additional stereo input. When a
mono signal is supplied, use the MIC AUX RETURN L socket (MONO).
The input sensitivity of the channel cannot be set on the mixer. The signal strength has to be set on the connect-
ed effect unit. Both return signals are controlled via MAIN OUT 1 or MAIN OUT 2 (16/17) at outputs MAIN OUT-
PUT 1 + 2 or the SUBWOOFER OUTPUT.
(40) MAIN OUTPUT 1 connection (balanced)
XLR connection for the downstream amplifier. The output level is set using the MAIN OUT 1 control (16).
(41) MAIN OUTPUT 1 MONO switch
Press this switch to play back the output signal at MAIN OUTPUT 1 (40) in mono. In this position, BAL 1 (18) has
no effect.
