FX SEND (ME1002 and ME1202)
1) FX SENDS control
The FX control is used as master control for the SEND FX socket. The control is used to set
the level of the FX sum signal at the SEND FX socket.
2) SEND FX socket
The FX sum signal is applied to the SEND FX socket. The socket is intended for connection
of an effect device.
If the FX sum signal is to be returned through a mono or stereo channel, the
FX control for the channel must be at the left stop to avoid feedback.
3) FX TO CTRL switch
Press the FX TO CTRL switch to put the FX sum signal on the CONTROL ROOM output,
the headphones socket and the LED level display. Only the FX sum signal is audible at the
CONTROL ROOM output and the headphones output.
CD/TAPE IN and CD/TAPE OUT
1) CD/TAPE INPUT socket
The outputs of a recording device (e.g. CD recorder) are connected to the CD/TAPE
IN sockets. This input can also be used as an additional STEREO LINE input, e.g. for
connection of a CD player.
The TAPE TO MIX switch must be pressed to send the CD/TAPE IN
signal to the MAIN MIX bus.
If the SOURCE SELECTION (RECORD) output of an ampli er is con-
nected, the SOURCE SELECTION selection switch can be used to
listen to the devices connected to the ampli er (e.g. CD player, tun-
er, etc.).
2) CD/TAPE OUTPUT socket
The inputs of a recording device (e.g. CD recorder) are connected to the CD/TAPE OUT sockets. The CD/TAPE
OUT signal is identical to the MAIN OUT signal. Alternatively, a hi ampli er can be connected to these asymmetric
outputs.
