6. Connections and Control Elements
2) POWER LED
The POWER LED is lit when the mixer is in operation.
3) +48 LED
The +48 LED is lit when the phantom voltage is switched on.
Attention! Make sure to observe the item PHANTOM switch for this.
4) LED level display
The LED level display indicates the level of the selected signal. The balance should not
exceed the “0dB” value if possible. Always avoid the CLIP LED lighting up. This would pos-
sibly lead to signal overmodulation and distortion as well.
5) PHONES control
This control is used to set the volume for the connected headphones and the output level to
the CTRL ROOM OUT outputs (ME1002 and ME1202).
Turn the PHONES control to the “-” position before plugging in, unplug-
ging or putting on the headphones or before switching the mixer on or
off. There is a danger of damage to your hearing from excessive volume at
the headphones output.
6) MAIN MIX slider (ME1002 and ME1202)
The MAIN MIX slider is used to set the level for the left and right output signals at the MAIN
OUT sockets.
7) MAIN MIX rotary control (ME502)
The MAIN MIX rotary control is used to set the level for the left and right
output signals at the MAIN OUT sockets.
