6. Connections and Control Elements
Outputs and Mains Adapter Socket
1) MAIN OUT
The mixer’s MAIN OUT output signal is applied to these asymmetric 6.3 mm jack outputs. A
PA ampli er can be connected here. The output level is set via the MAIN MIX slider. In the
ME502 mixer, the output level is set via the MAIN MIX rotary control.
2) CTRL ROOM OUT (ME1002 and ME1202)
The mixer’s CONTROL ROOM output signal is applied to these asymmetric 6.3 mm jack
outputs. The CONTROL ROOM signal is identical with the headphones signal. The CON-
TROL ROOM output is usually used for the monitor system. The output level is set via the
PHONES control.
3) Headphone socket
Connection socket for stereo headphones (6.3mm jack plug).
Turn the PHONES control to the “-” position before plugging in, unplug-
ging or putting on the headphones or before switching the mixer on or
off. There is a danger of damage to your hearing from excessive volume at
the headphones output.
4) Mains adapter socket
The included mains adapter is connected to this socket. The connection is used to supply the device with power.
The mixer has no main switch. The mixer is operational once the included mains adapter is
connected to the device and the mains socket.
