8. Connection
Ensure that the mains adapter of the device is disconnected and all TRIM, channel and MAIN
MIX controls are set to the minimum value before the device is connected or any connection is
changed.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connection cables between the different devices
and any extension cables comply with the regulations and the operating instructions.
Only connect audio outputs with suitable shielded connection cables. Use of other cables
might cause interference.
To avoid distortions or mismatches that could damage the device, only connect devices with
the same connection type.
For this, observe also the connection information in the section “Technical Data”.
Cables are important connection links in the system. Therefore, use high-quality step-protect-
ed cables with high-quality plugs. Do not place the mixer’s in/output cables directly adjacent
to mains cables. If required, cross the cables at a 90-degree angle to keep the danger if inter-
ference as low as possible.
Last, connect the included mains adapter with the device. For this, connect the 3-pin low-voltage plug to the mixer
mains adapter socket. Then secure the plug with the thumb screw. Only then plug the mains adapter of the mains
cable into a 230V AC / 50Hz household mains socket. The device is now operational.
