14. Troubleshooting
A channel is not played back via the MAIN OUT sockets.
Check the cable connected to the channel input.
Is a signal present at the channel input? Check the signal source.
The TRIM control or the channel’s channel control are not set correctly.
Only one side of a channel is played back via the MAIN OUT sockets.
Check the position for the channel’s PAN/BAL control.
Verify the cables connected to the MAIN OUT sockets.
The volume control of one PA-ampli er channel is set to “MINIMUM”.
There is no playback via the CTRL ROOM outputs.
The PHONES control is not set correctly.
The TAPE TO CTRL switch is pressed. But no signal is present at the CD/TAPE input.
Check the MAIN control and the LEVEL controls in the channels.
The FX TO CTRL switch is pressed. But no signal is present at the FX. Check the FX SENDS control and the
FX controls in the channels.
No display is present at the LED level display.
The TAPE TO CTRL or the FX TO CTRL switch is pressed and no signal is applied to the CTRL ROOM or FX
Bus.
The signal level is too low.
The right LED level display shows no deflection.
Check the position of the channels’ PAN/BAL control.
No playback via the headphones.
Check the PHONES control position.
The TAPE TO CTRL or the FX TO CTRL switch is pressed and no signal is applied to the CTRL ROOM or FX
Bus.
No signal is played back at the SEND FX socket.
Check the FX SENDS control.
Check the channel controls and the FX controls in the channels.
No playback of the CD/TAPE signal at the MAIN OUT output.
Press the TAPE TO MIX switch.
No playback of the CD/TAPE signal at the CTRL ROOM OUT output.
Press the TAPE TO CTRL switch.
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised
specialist.
