saved by clicking Apply.
Choosing Alert options
Once you configure it with the response options you want, you can let the Dr
Solomon’s Anti-Virus application look for and remove viruses from your
system automatically,as itfindsthem,withalmost no further intervention.To
have the application tellyou immediatelywhenitfindsavirus sothatyoucan
take appropriateaction, however,configure itto send an alertmessage to you.
Follow these steps:
1. To startfromthe Console window, selectthe taskyou created in the task
list, then click in the Console toolbar.
2. The Dr Solomon’s Anti-Virus Properties dialog box appears (see Figure
6-8 on page 229). Click the Alert tab to display the correct property page
(Figure 6-13).

3. Select the Notify Alert Manager checkbox to have the Dr Solomon’s
Anti-Virus application send alert messages to Alert Manager for
distribution.
