Warn in gsan d AlarmsTh re sho l ds
Th reshold settings are availab le for warnings a nd ala rms. Simply point, click,
and drag the slider on each rule to set the threshold for warnings and/or
alarms.
The thresholds are constrained to each other (from O ff to 100%). This
constraintrelationshipis determinedbywhether the InvertAlarmscheckbox
is selected.

WinGauge allows yo u t o mon itor both increasing and decreasing values.

Occa siona lly, you will need to mon itor a value tha t is dropping, such as
available dis k space.
Selecting th e Invert Alarms check box allow s you to monitor diminishing
values.
If you are monitoring available disk space, you would use Invert e d Alarms,
and could set your warning threshold to 10% available, with an alarm being
triggered when your available dis k space drops to 5%.
Properties: Global tab
The Global tab contains several options which allow you to change the
appearance of all g auges.
Changedimensions
Drag the sliders at th e top and left of the gauge pr eview to r esize all gauges.
As y ou dra g t he sliders , the gauge p review changes s ize in real-time to s how
the curr e nt dimensions for all gauges.
Gauge title font, gauge value font, and gauge font
Click the Select Font button to s elect a differen t fo nt family, fo nt style, o r font
size fo r all gauge titles, va lue s, o r gauge fonts, respectively. W inGauge
displays a standar d Font dialog box whe re yo u can select from the fonts
available on your computer.
TIP:Title text is v isible when the Title check box is selected in the Gauge
Text s ection of the Appearance t ab. Value text is visible when the Value
check box is selected. The fonts fortitlesand values are set in the Gauge
Title Font section and Gauge Font section. The Gauge Font is the font
used when you select a g auge type of Text Gauge.
