Select the Sh ow Bubble Help check box t o display Bubble Help w hen you
point to a gauge. The delay time sp e cifie s the time in w hich the help

Properties: Background Pattern tab
The Background Patte rn tab allowsyouto use a b itmap fileast he b ac kground
pattern for y our WinGauge window and your gauges.
To set a background pattern:
1. Right click on a gauge and select Properties.
2. Choose the Background P attern tab.
3. Check the “ Enable Background Pa ttern” box.
4. Sele ct a bitmap file fo r your window and gauges.
An example of the background pattern implementation is prov ided in
the “Set Backgro und Pattern” p a ne l of the dialogue box.

TIP: When selecting a bitmap to use asa pattern,keep i n mind that
lighter colors provide for greater gauge readability. Bi tmaps
am enable to tili ng also lend tothe vis ibility of the gauges within the
WinGauge window.
5. Click OK.
Your selected bitmap is now the background pattern of WinGauge.
Properties: Alarm Manager tab
WinGauge w ill perform certain actions w hen an alarm is triggered. With the
Alar m Manage r, you can define the alarm conditions and actions of
WinGauge.
Saving and loading gauge settings
After chang ing t he WinGauge window, you can save your settings by name
andreloadthem later.Youc ansave multiple WinGaugewindowsand reopen
them as you need t hem.
WinGauge uses the De f ault.wgp file name as a de f ault. You will want to s ave
your s e ttings using a unique name. Once you’ve named your settings, choose
the Save command.
