To save gauge sett ings:
1. PointtoagaugeandpresstheRightmousebutton.
2. Choose the Save A s command from the Settings menu.
3. E nter a file name for these settings and click Save . (Use t he .WGP file
extension for settings files.)
TIP: To have WinGauge automatically load a particularg auge settings
file,specify thefile name in the WinGauge shortcut properties sheet.

Trash Guard
When yo u enable Trash Guar d, all deleted files are m oved to t he Recycle Bin.
TostartTrashGuard,choosePrograms >McAfeeUtilities >Tras hGuardfrom
the Start menu. Youcan also right-click the Recycle Bin icon in M y Computer
or Windows Exp lor er, choose Propertie s, s elect the McAfee Utilities t ab, a nd
select the Enable T rash Guard c heck box.
Specifying Trash Guard Properties
Trash G uard’s Properties sh eet lets you decide if the Trash G uard Pro perties
tab appears in the Recycle Bin’s Properties sheet dialog bo x. You can also
spe cify an y files to exclude fro m d elete pro tection .
Toaddfiles toexclude fromdeleteprotection,clickthe Add Newb utton.T hen
locatethefilestoexcludeorthepathto a folderor directory offilestoexclude.
You can use standard wildcard characters to exclude all files that have the
same file ext e nsion or similar n ame s.The wildcard characters you can use are:
As terisk ( * )–a multiple-character placeholder. For example if you enter
*.BAK, all files that have the .BAK file extension would be exclude d from
delete protection. Or if you enter ~*.*, all file s that start with a tilde ( ~ )
and have any file extension would be excluded from delete protection.
