McAfee Utilities
• Protected Volume Drive Letter–(available only for backup sets stored
as a Protected Volume File).Thedriveletteryouwanttouseforthe
Protected Volume File backup set.
• KeepDeleted FilesFor–Selecthowlongyouwantthebackupsetto
keepfileswhoseoriginalcounterpartshavebeend eletedfrom your
system.
• Limit Size of Backup Volume–Drag the slider left to reduce the
b ackup volume size limit o r right to increase the backup volume
size limit.
Backup Drive
Drive and Directory Folde rs appear in the B a ckup Dr ive list so you can
select any of the ones you want to add to your backup set. Click folders
to open and c lose them. C lick the c heck boxes to place a check mark
besidethedrivesordirectoriesthatyouwanttobackup.
Document Types
Youcanselectgroupsoffilesthatyouwanttoincludeinyourbackupset
by selecting their file type. The file type, such as TXT (for a text file),
indicates the fil e’s purpose. Safe & Sound d isplays a list of all the
registered file t ypes i n Windows 95/98. The file types with check marks
show the types of files that will be included in your backup set.
Saf e & Sound obtains i ts list of registered file types f rom Wi ndows. You
can view or add regi stered file types in My Computer or Windows
Explorer.
